Can't wait for Monday. Saw the Chicago show last night. Fucking awesome. Maynard has a cold. SlickNick I didn't wait in line at all to get into the show. I walked in around 7:50 went right to the merch table and bought 2 posters, none of the merch was sold out at that time.

Because there will be a line anyway and i want to get in ASAP and get to the merchendise table. I want to be in the arena ASAP.
Parking: It's been a while, but things might be relatively safe near the gig.
Also, there may be free spots just north up Woodward, and i imagine that at least on Woodward, if you leave nothing on the seats, that your car won't get f---ed with.
How much is the official parking and where do they park you?
To the camera person: I know some fan pics end up great, but some are just crap. If it were me, I'd leave it at home and enjoy the show all the more.
Who has seen a show at the Fox in recent years? How is the sound? How are the security-- 'specially about things other than cameras, things such as . . .kind . . . green . . . .
It's in the Fox Garage. So it's probably attached to the theatre or beside it. It's 13.75 if you use the ticketfast which you have to use so it was 13.75 total.
There is no Tiger's game tomorrow, so the Comerica Park lot directly across the street should be good to go aswell, especially if you get there at a decent time. I don't remember how much it costs to park there though.
Someone asked about the sound. I was there for Audioslave in Nov. and the sound was beautiful. Tom Morello's guitar was especially amazing, I would be *extremely* cautious about getting green in there, this is no fly by night shithole. It's a classy joint, so be on high alert when bringing in/burning green.

I'll be there at 6.00 PM. No Opening Band. They Took Stage at 7:40 for an 8:00 concert a few shows ago so you might not want to get there at the last minute.
Just got tix this evening on ebay sec f5 row EE. Hopefully they will be good seats, seen the band 3 times prior (96 state, 97? lollapalooza, 01 palace) and never been to the Fox so I'm pretty damn excited. I got sucked into paying $315 for the pair but what the hell you only live once.

No offense nick but, you're fucking nuts :) There isn't a chance in hell that merch will sell out in the time it takes most people to get inside. In fact, I'll be pretty damn suprised if theres much of a line at all. I'm heading out from Grand Rapids around 3:30 which puts us in at about 6 or so... i think... and right now we plan on maybe checking out hockeytown to see if we run into any TDN goers. Other than that, we were just going to walk around looking for stuff to do for a while...
Dunno what I'm wearing but I'll be sure to post it tomorrow for the "countless" TDNers that might spot me wandering around.
