Here's a song i'm working on(Alternative/metal):
http://whenabitchbecomesaho.bandcamp.com/track/jacob
Its called Jacob.
Tell me if you like it or not.
Also was wondering if there's any drummers out there that would like to do some kind of online collaboration, i have alot of material to work with, if so just pm me. If not i guess i'll just go fuck myself.

Chorus sounds big, love the second chord. Really fills out the bottom end and adds some melody and ethereal quality to it as well. Could hear singing and/or screaming on it. Biggest drawback for me was the drums honestly. Overall me gusta.

Thanks tyro. Was thinking of leaving it as an instrumental, but I guess it could use some vocals, and yeah the drums, hence reason why I'm looking for a drummer. Thanks for listening there will be more to come.:)

Whats wrong with the drums?
The song has a good 'n' fuzzy feel to it. It definitely works as an instrumental but for some reason in my head I can hear a raspy kind of Touche Amore style screamy but coherent vocal. Might add some intensity. But the track is already intense. Great work, I was groovin and boppin to that the whole time. :D

Hey loveboat, thx for listening, even just a couple nice comments is enough to motivate me to make the best music I can with the resources that I have. Thanks for that. I'll cook up something, check back. I'll look to impress.

Not sure if you care or not, but there is a New Zealand post-rock band called Jakob that don't sound dissimilar to what you're doing. They supported Tool on their last tour down here.
I enjoyed your music, but may I suggest you reconsider the name...

Parts of it impressed me, such as the intro sounds/beat. But, some of the parts sound flagrantly 'demo-y' in terms of repetition, rhythm complexity and tone. That's all. I still think the song as a whole kicks major ass. It was more of a general comment than anything.
Pugs, I look forward to the next stuff you demo out. You've inspired me to maybe record some of my shit. How do you manage the copyright protection and all of that? That's one thing that's always concerned me about posting originals on the internet.

The song in general is on the repetitive side. But fun to play.
As far as copyright issues, I think most artists get off of creating something of their own,not someone else's, I don't think their interested in that, I've never worried about that. Plus I have proof In GarageBand of the dates it was made.
If you post some stuff, I'll give honest feedback.
