I closed one of those other threads because it was crap. I'm sure Paraflux will look it over later and determine whether or not it belongs in rumors. Also, I looked at the Doom 3 songs posted earlier in this thread, and yeah, I think that was what I heard. I didn't realize it this morning. I hadn't heard that track since Doom 3 was brought out. So, anyway, I apologize for not noticing that. Good job to those who actually got it to play. Shit, I saw that some of you have a bunch of points from listening to songs there. Don't be too mad at me because you can get Amazon gift cards or other shit. Anyway, once again, my bad. I really should have realized it was that Doom 3 song. Haha you guys came over here - well anyway, that is some demo stuff or something, if it is it. But it's not bad at all I think. And that voice on there has 'Nard's emotion. Listen close the way he phrases things, there is just that extra thing that he has. The stuff sounds early - but can you imagine that after they "brought in 10 more Dolby units" lol... I think it is them personally. And believe me, I'm not one to be easily suckered. The album's gonna sound different, get ready for it. Also that stuff sounds sort of APC'ish to me too - and remember alot of reviewers have thought that. I dunno, but I love the speculation.

Yeah I don't think that was too cool to close that thread so fast. No harm was being done - just alot of thoughtful people discussing a 30 second unpolished clip of some "possible" spectacular music. Oh don't even worry about it man. We have all been suckered in by the infamous Doom 3 "3 minute clip of Vicarious"... Plus you had better reason to buy into it with an officious looking and seeming format. And that thing is some commercial bullshit, we could all see Vicarious popping up there before anywhere else haha. Hey we all bought into it too. If nothing else... it was an entertaining, yet unfortunately unfruitful way to kill a few hours. Look on the brightside - now when you do hear it, and it is a hundred times better than that song, you are gonna be floored. It's all about the music, none of this other bullshit matters one bit. =)

has anyone tried to download the Tool Vicarious (radio edit) mp3 file on limewire at the moment. It's a 6.6MB file and while it's probably a fake, I'd like to know whether anyone has checked it out yet

it's doom 3, or a corrupt file.
