Just a thought... Someone mentioned before the release of 10,000 days and during all the conspiracy hype that it seemed bizzare that tool would record shows from the lateralus tour and release them AFTER the new album. The chronology just doesnt seem to add up. Do you think they are still working on this dvd and will release it on the 6/6/06? Or do u think they will record some shows from the 10,000 days tours and throw them on the dvd too? any thoughts on the progression of the dvd are welcome.

I'm hoping the rumor is true about that release date. I want some good quality live footage instead of the run of the mill bootlegs that i have. Plus a video for wings and 10,000 days just sounds great. i think what is a little disapointing is that this dvd is only supposed to have a couple live songs. I want more and i'm pretty sure every tool fan does too considering this live dvd has been talked about for years now.

Surely there must be some kind of full live show being released on dvd. The surely is almost entirely based on the fact that i REALLY REALLY want one and not exactly rooted in any fact haha.

well its a fact that they have footage from the last 4-5 lateralus tour shows. And maynard himself they were going to release a live DVD.. but when.. who the fuck knows.
the more i think about it the less likely i think it is that TOOL will release an entire live dvd...it would be too much of a good thing..just my 2 cents
I think I heard about this in the "live and unreleased" forum, where there was talk of the Vicarious DVD being released on 6/6/06 complete with videos for "vicarious", "10,000 Days", 3 live songs/clips (2002) and 1 from 2006 (coachella?).
I really hope though that we dont have to wait 30 years for a live dvd like with Led Zeppelin...lol
