I don't think I'll be seeing Tool this time around unless they suddenly announce that they're playing their surprise new album in full.
This will be the 14th and 15th time I've seen these dudes play. They have toured pre-album release for the last three albums....
I'm willing to bet the new album is out sometime this year.
If you need a surprise new album to see one of the only honest bands left these days, than by all means, miss this tour. Your seats will be gladly taken by a real fan....
Toronto and London!! Still can't believe they are playing the JLC!!! Such a tiny venue! This will be nearly as good as the hummingbird centre show!
Judging is one thing, being disrespectful is quite another. Most people are capable of disliking things without booing.
I booed a place to bury strangers when I saw them open for nine inch nails. Mainly due to them keeping 1000 strobe lights on full blast for 20 minutes.

True because, your not only disrespecting the band, but the ones who are enjoying them
With this logic, the people enjoying themselves (by cheering, hooting, hollering) are doing the same thing that you expect people who aren't enjoying themselves to avoid.

There's no way to show your like or dislike of a show except for being vocal about it. If you like it, you're allowed to yell and scream, but if you don't, you're supposed to stay quiet? I ain't buying that.
I also don't see a point to booing for an entire show, though. Boo then leave if you have a problem with it.
It's one thing to boo a sports team that maybe you are questioning the effort of the team or the front office. It is entirely a different thing to boo a creative endeavor.
While you may not like the choice of opening band that your main band chose.....doesn't mean you need to be direspectful to that band's art.
Just sayin.

I owe Tool for turning me on to the brilliance of Mike Patton. Fantomas and Tomahawk. And there were a bunch of stupid fan boys booing because they were in a hurry to mosh to "Stinkfist" and "Aenema"

Which people did to Coheed and Cambria, well I've heard, when they Co-headlined with Slipknot.
