Oxygen in air turning the
Blue blood red.
He looks upon the bloodshed
With a smile on his face,
Perspiration running through his head.
Sword to sheath the smile fades,
Souls now free to breathe the immortal coil.
"To the dead," he said, "How
Are you going to make your amends?"
"Not sure," I smile and nod, "Sad
And sure is the way that offends
Our fate and the secret of the beginning."
Avenging the Furies gives power to my prayer.
Yearning for battle and thirsting for danger,
I chose the road filled with wayward peril.
The sword and the pen not much different
In the role they play for the world eternal.
I like this it reads like a regretful dream. always be better later mistakes can be made it's your heart that counts . I hope your obligations are over if not you have a choice to make, again. If you get this good , of not it's okay , it wouldn't mean any other thing so you know it when you get it..
that is pretty good.... it seems honest... but i cant be sure.
have you ever read 'all quiet on the western front'.... not the movie. the movie is comparatively nothing. go to your local library, youll probably find it in stack. its a short book as the writer dies.
go... get that book and read it.
it will certainly mean something to you.

ah yes, have read it....it does appeal to me, but i wouldn't realize how much until about exactly 6 years ago when i found myself in a war time situation....not exactly 6 years, i didn't go off until later in 2002....
