I was at a concert once and a friend was passed a joint that was laced with coke, of course he wasn't told that until after smoking it...oh man, I thought he was totally going to lose it. He said that it felt like his heart was going beat right out of his chest and that the whole time his head was just swimming.
Yeah, that shit is uncool.

While I am only a very casual smoker who partakes once say every 6 months-year...I am pro-legalization and if people are going to do it, why not be able to make money on it and let the government tax it. It certainly would boost the economy. It's no worse than Tabacco or Alcohol, that's for sure. I mean, an age limit would be obviously enforced and also it would be treated the same as far as DUI laws go, but I say that people are going to do it (and already do) and that it has no worse effects than drugs that are already legal and controlled.
However, it does become an issue of where we draw the line, legalization could lead to a problem regarding arguments for the legalization for other more "hard" drugs. Perhaps, decriminalization would just be the most logical step. Stop putting people in jail for it.
Hell, how many accidents do you hear about people being high, next to none. If anything it makes them better perhaps. I know I normally like to speed all over in my Mustang but, if I'm high, I'm quite possibly going under the speed limit just chillin'.

I don't know, people I know driving when under the influence get distracted pretty easily...or maybe I'm just paranoid...lol

Well, I definately think it's much safer than driving drunk
I don't know, no experience driving high, like I stated before, the limits of my abilities when I am high are restricted to eating anything in sight, laughing my ass off at stupid movies, and passing out.
Driving drunk, now that is something I know a lot about. Kidding! Well, not when I am that drunk at least lol

Definitely agree with you. I think I'm much more attentive while high (if I'm driving anyway) and tend to drive more carefully. Makes driving more fun, I think, especially if I'm alone and blaring Tool and singing my heart out.
Actually i'd get arrested for not have a proper license to drive ( i have a learners license which means i can only drive with supervision of someone who can legally drive) lol
So none of the above Mari
YES!!!!!! I've met some and it gets on my nerves!!! I mean like, you've heard the songs, you can make the connections, you can see the horrible things going on in the world, and yet, you still don't think it applies to you???!!! You can't see the injustices that are happening every day, and how messed up most people are in the world??? Why? Why are you still ignorant and think you're above it all.... Personally, i think it's an insult.

aenema is about waking up from the ego-nightmare that exists very heavily in america.
it's ironic because many fans of tool haven't woken up. if that's the case, then the lyrics are an outright kick in the nuts, a successful attempt to
wake...
you......
the.......
fuck......
up........
it seems like his attitude is more like he couldnt care less about the people
especially LA .
LA is one of the places in the world where everbody wants to be , and all of the trendy celebrity people . all the things thtat he mentions in this part
Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car.
are the things all the ``cool`` or ``baller`` people in LA are obsessed with fashion and consumerism , everyone of them seems to conform to the same bullshit .
and think about it what would the world be like without LA?
so central is the ambiguous. you interpret for yourselves. tool is pontifical for most audiences.
in my opinion, anema points out how trivial life is for the ordinary people. they swivet, cavil and are significantly lacking substance of the the human experience. Cataclysm by mother nature upon the lummoxes. Pray to Dionysus that teutonic shift goes down round way boys and girls.
