I guess I can assume a Mansfield date at the end of July or early August. 7/30 and 8/2 are open dates. C'mon 8/2. At least that's on a Sunday.
Yeah, maybe for flogging molly. Tool does whatever the fuck they want if no one's noticed.

If the show is at Mansfield, I hope it's on a Saturday. We're going to have a hell of a tailgate going.
28 is a large group. Beats my group to (possibly) Mansfield. :-)

I'm thinking that number might go down depending about who gets tickets. I'm only buying a few so I can get the best seats and be able to attend other shows. I'm just hoping the show is on a weekend. If you're heading to Mansfield, we'll definitely have libations and other assorted goodies in the parking lot, so feel free to join in.

Yeah, I'll probably just buy two myself.
And I'm always down for some parking lot fun ;)
Not involving any blow or blow jobs of course!
Beaneee what's up my man, stop posting when you're stoned! ;)

I sure hope Tool's local SoCal stomping grounds aren't overlooked this tour. I'll gladly take a show at Staples, Nokia, or Cox Arena over any conceivable festival around here. Hope the details get resolved soon!

"Usually when a band signs on for festival dates, they are not allowed to play other shows in the area as part of the contract." Well I wouldn't think that would fly for TOOL. This other band called the PhisH is playing,
6.10.09Thompson-Boling Arena - Sold Out
1600 Phillip Fulmer Way
Knoxville, TN 37996
6.12.09Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival
Manchester, TN
Plus Asheville Nc right before that on the 9th. I'm just hoping for the stand alone shows also.

I would like to see them tour with Isis again. Isis just posted tour dates for the summer so if Tool and Isis will be together, the dates are already out there...
But the venues look small on the Isis tour so it's probably not hapenning. However, Isis hasn't released the names of anyother bands on their tour.

Knoxville and Manchester are almost 180 miles apart. We'll see, but I would be very suprised if there is another date in Chicago, NYC or Denver outside of the festivals.

I would tend to agree especially for a "mini-tour". With this being (at best) a two month stint they would probably want to cover as much ground as possible and not stay in one spot.

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with the live shows. I'm gonna guess it has to do with the much anticipated "big announcement" that was supposed to happen on January 17, 2008.

I think kabir needs to get more creative. Going to the station to pick them up wouldn't deter scalping. Do it like NIN is. Force presales to go to venue day of show to pick up tickets.
(Call me a fool. I did get all excited, expecially after seeing Indy. Got me, kinda)
