Lost some body parts
Dancing with a train
They all grew back
Sitting in the rain
In refracted light
Saw vines as veins
Tied up I cut
And felt no pain
It wasn't me really
Copied thoughts in my brain
Still it feels sort of real
What is what? Am I sane?
I asked an oak tree. Some leaves, some bark.
I asked passing cars. A dog in a park.
I called to passing strangers I thought were neighbours.
I asked a rain drop
I caught in a jar, they all said;
Just relax for a spell
And ask again later.

definitely got a psychedelic feel to it. I guess you could say "ask again later" means when you come down from it. I see it this way cause people and things responded the same way... things like rain drops don't communicate under normal circumstances. It reads very smooth, very cool.
