It's just one of those days.
Everyone has them
But when it's not everone, it's you,
That's when no one else can understand.
You get to class
and the girl who usually greets you with a smile
and the hug that gets you going for the day is sitting in the corner,
a mixed bag of angst, depression, and frustration.
You shrug it off.
You reach into your bag
and realize you forgot your Calculus notes and book at home,
and that's enough to make you not bother going.
So you sit on your ass for a few hours,
but it's okay,
because you're going out tonight.
At least you have that to look forward to.
Physics comes along,
and you show up early,
hoping that the brownie points will make your day a little brighter.
But when you get there you realize
it doesn't matter anyway,
because the professor couldn't care less.
You leave Physics
early,
because you can't stand nor can you understand the professor.
You leave Physics

feeling dumber than you did when you walked in.
But it's okay,
because you're going out tonight.
At least you have that to look forward to.
You sit around after class and wait for her to call.
Something inside you knows she won't,
because she never does.
But you're hopeful.
So hopeful it's stupid.
You keep yourself amused
by inhaling helium with your friends and laughing at the voices.
But your laughs feel a lot like the balloon you just deflated.
But it's going to be okay,
because you're going out tonight.
At least you have that to look forward to.
She doesn't call,
but you knew that anyway.
So you swing by her house on your way out of school.
You know she's never there.
But you're hopeful.
So hopeful it's sickening.
And if you find her,
you're going out tonight.

She's not home,

You leave her house and start to drive home.
Then you notice your phone is broken.
Great.
Even if she does call you now
you
can't
pick
up.
Ironic,
now she is going to think you blew her off when you see her in class tomorrow morning.
And that's not okay.
Because you're not going out tonight.
And you have nothing to look forward to.
You drive home,
fast.
Not because you want to get home
but because it makes the pain fly out the moonroof
as adrenaline rises.
You listen to cheesy emo,
because it gives you a decent reason
to want to cry.
You want to cry, but you can't find the effort to actually do it.
The person in front of you is going 10 mph
under the speed limit.
The pain comes back as
adrenialine falls as
frustration rises.
Each passing telephone pole makes you think
about what it would feel like to hit it.
And the child staring at you from the rear window of the car you're tailgating makes you wonder if he ever has days like this.

Cuz one day, I'll have forgotten my lunch again, and the day is over, but I'm still not home, and someone cuts me off, I'm going to seriously remember to forget to use my brakes and slam that accelarator - reverse - and fucking do it again.

Days like this, on the edge of wanting to punch someone's face into a bloody mess, are what keep us alive and fresh.
I see, now, how you drew a line between Bus and the last bit of this piece.
A lot of this, however, seems a little too colloquial. I see how, with the repetition, you are building the piece up but a lot of it is deflated by just how simple the scene is that you set. I'm not saying that you need to have fantastic, out of the ordinary scenes to make a poem work, but you do have to try to take the basic, the mundane and make it emphatically so.
