Hey thanks! I saw the opportunity of the lighting coming through the trees and took 20+ photos at various angles/settings to achieve the shot that I wanted. Plus the setting of the smoke barrel with the right distance and wind direction etc... Lots of fun :) No post photo manipulation needed with it, blah blah hah.

I mentioned in another thread the random odd things around here that I had taken some pics on one of my walks last fall so thought I would share. These were all taken in the same neighborhood pretty much. Pics are shit quality (iphone) so I'll include an explanation. And then go buy a better camera so I can get better photos.
Topiary - this is just one little vignette, the yard was filled with frolicking animal topiaries. Look closely at the thing with the flag, its a teddy bear with yellow flower eyes. Next to him is a basket of flowers:

otherwise perfect. i am enjoying all the white balance especially
hell yeah, now that would be interesting. i think you could do an entire series of photos revolving around the theme of "how to do 10,000 days". i'd imagine it might include someone putting the album into a sort of audio device before hitting the start button ...performing various rituals, sitting or lying down, at a show, during sex, going to work, dancing with others or alone, headphones on or speakers up, active or passive listening! the ideas are endless really. that's what i love about photography; using a camera to express something.

I'm still in Florida, program is another 2 years. Went home for a break in October and got pretty lucky.
