A genre or style would make for a helpful point of reference though...

I'd be up for it if it sounds interesting. I could lay down drum tracks, synth tracks, and do some mixing/mastering. I have a pro drum set with pro mics in my home studio, along with decent quality recording gear and some decent monitors.

if i could ever get my hands on recording equipment i would put in some tuba for you guys.

We should have a vocal competition where everyone sings a verse from a tool song or something. What we really need is a place, a server where all the files can be hosted.

I'm up for it...I might be able to help in the vocal/lyric department. My guitar skills are minimal at best, but even there I'm good with pulling out little riffs out of my ass.

If we just had a server to host files then everyone could upload whatever they wanted. Others could download whatever they wanted, change, modify, and improve it then re-upload it.

That way we would not be limited to one style, direction, or vision.

Haha wikiaudio, what a great idea. Just have a big pool of parts that people submit and people could download it record another part over it and upload it back. You could get a ton of crazy different ideas going. However, the space to hold all those different versions would be huge. Because lets say person A uploads a guitar riff and person B puts drums over, person B would have to rename the file so the original file is still there. You would eventually get a ton of versions of based on the same guitar riff. That's actually a really great idea. *offers up the EBA ftp server*

Well I know there exist better drummers then me out there, duh. But I've never seen anything posted here that's better then me and I'm pretty sure I'm the best in TDN.

Yeah, you're pretty damn good on the kit actually.

But my freind is autistic and has aspergus syndrome, and he's only 16, so all he is capible of doing is playing the kit and doing art, nothing else.
I only have old shitty videos of him when he was 13, and they are like 30 - 40mb.

I'll record him sometime and host it.
