I've just completed a song, and it's abit of a departure for me stylistically. It's sort of Downtempo triphop, with abit of Dubstep in there maybe. Either way, I'd like some feedback on it, so here's a hi-fi stream of the song 'Nightmares':

(Edit: looks like soundclick is down. The song is also on my Twilight Amber Ego myspace, in my signature)

ok..
I've just listened to this and I've ONE main problem with this song.
It's not long enough... just when I was really getting into it, it starts fading out. Apart from that, I thought it was brilliant, I'd like to hear a bit more of your stuff.
Also, could you hook me up with an MP3 version of this. :)
I'm just wondering what this tune would sound like with vocals?
Nice one and keep up the good work.

i also really really enjoyed it. especially towards the last half of it, when that symphony string feel started kicking in. good stuff. agreed, could be longer to really have a sense of finality to it, if you wanted it that way.
keep up the good work.

Cool. All the responses have been exactly the same, everyone wants more, which it's brilliant. The song appears on an album as a breath, a pause, I was concious not to make it overly long and over do something that was supposed to be light. But as a song, I think it needs more of a climax, so I think i'll end up repeating the final 'big section' once more as a nice light climax and leave it there. Thanks for the feedback, I'm pleased you've all enjoyed it!

OK I've rewritten Nightmares, here's a link to the new version:
http://www.soundclick.com/util/getpl...d=6093782&q=hi
I can't edit the original post any more. THE ABOVE LINK is the new version, the original post is the old version.
Let me know what you think!
