All in all, I think this is one of my best recordings to date.

These two songs, "Great Expectations" and "Kneel and Disconnect" from PT's last album I always thought were too short lived, like they needed to go on longer especially considering how much I really relate to the tunes.

I decided for one of my upcoming two albums I would record an arrangement of the two tracks with some newly written stuff in it and this is what resulted.

It's not the final final version, but it's pretty damn close. I titled it "The Great Disconnect"

Please check it out and give me any feedback you feel appropriate. Thanks.

Well, i've listened to it around 4 times in the last few days.
Pro:I think overall you did a good job.And it sounds like one song.
Con:Even though you captured the emotion with your singing,Some of the vocals sound as if your singing through your nose and it kinda taints the performance but not enough to keep you from executing the song.
You should use more air than pressure.

Thanks pugs.

Admittedly the last vocal section was meant to be sort of nasally, kind of behind the entire musical track but just present enough to be heard.

As far as the rest of the vocals go I might've skimped out on doing more takes and maybe could've gotten the technique better.

Thanks Hodge.

I'm also recording a "Phase II" or part 2 for the second disc of the double album which includes another arrangement. I'll post links to it as soon as I finish recording it.

It's pretty far along already.
