"Lateralus" piano cover

This video is awesome. The way this guy interprets the song is so beautiful I had to share it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOGCDc34m-4

Re: "Lateralus" piano cover

I might've posted this in the wrong section. If so, I'd be glad if the mods could move it to the appropriate one.

Is that... Rock Voisine fucking opening his French-Canadian gob? It fucking has to be. The piano sounds nice, kind of dinner-at-Grandma's Tool cover.
Just make that man stop singing.

As soon as i get bitter, i start to like it. I am no good at hating.
And the award for most gratuitous use of the word fuck in a screenplay goes to...

thanks for the warning. i havent recorded any of my music yet, but maybe i will if i find a way of recording it.

most of the people playing tool songs on the piano on youtube hit the right notes and have added some inventions, but what upsets me is when people slame the piano, they put no feeling into the instrument, or they do not make some parts piano (soft) and others forte (loud).... maybe it just sticks out the most to me cause ive been playing for years but there is a difference between playing just a score and playing music by adding feeling to it.

Re: "Lateralus" piano cover

have you ever done ticks and leeches? i would really love to hear a fan do a cover. Most sound so damn clinical. It's like they're trying to perform brain surgery.
if you ever get the time, or have any recorded.
