I was more than a lil PEEEEEEVED at the ticket sales process. Im 0 for 2 when it comes to getting tickets from this venue. I was at Ticketmaster outlet in Oklahoma and was told they could not sale any tickets for this show....youre kidding me.......... so I begin calling ticketmaster as Im rushing back to work to get to a computer I get a TM agent on the phone @ 10am and they tell me no phone sales for this show...........get back to work @ 10:05 am and immediately into the "virtual lobby" to get my tickets, by 1035 no tickets and I never got a chance to get any......RUINED MY DAY! Ive seen them around 15 times, I must get to this show.....Someone message me and hook a true TOOL JUNKIE UP! Im all over EBAY and Craigslist and see nothing but brokers wanting up to $700 a ticket for the good seats....shakes my head!

I got screwed on this too. Ive seen TOOL 8 times since 1998.
I was on there at like 9 am and used a computer and an ipad an didnt get ticket access til 10:15-10:20. By then it only offered me sec 400 nosebleeds, itried a few more times and it was sold out by then. Scalpers and vip club members took most of these tickets.
That waiting room system sucks. I would be happy with upper 200 section and i normally have rail at TOOL shows or really any show. I hope that jan 21 st date ends up being OKC because the CEArena has an opening that day. Or tulsa or wichita. Tired of paying 500 dollars for TOOL shows, which ive done twice.
Im in toolarmy and it sux,the forums and everything are down and have been for a couple years now. I think it was a venue presale not toolarmy. Probably verizon vip members.
There was no pre sale I don't know why people believe that.
Anyways I'll be there. in the beautiful 400's hopefully I'll get better seats for show #2.
yes there were pre sales. i posted the link for people. that site still has tickets for all the shows tool are playing.
and if people want to see tool, there are plenty of places to get tickets from scalper sites (like toolwrench said).
i paid $140 for a 7th row ticket @the chicago theater when tool played there a couple of weeks after 10,000 days came out. the chicago theater has plush carpet and velvet covered seats, the sound was awesome as well as the whole show. it was well worth it to me.
edit: also, lol @toolarmy

Same here guys...when did it start letting you in last time? right at 10?
A few min after 10 it will say tickets are open and you are awaiting your turn... But its bullshit because it will throw you in and out of the waiting room...
I'm waiting via phone and continuously searching on the net... I passes on some 300 level tickets already. The sections havent started to black out so there are still seats in the 1's and 2's available. I have no clue how this system works.

trade you 2 tix for section 202 for your tix in section 204? :)
Ha, I think I'm good...
Although, I'm very curious as to why they chose two days in Dallas. I asked in the other thread and nobody responded. It had always been mentioned that that would be the venue for them to shoot the DVD in and the topic of the DVD came up in Blair's last newsletter.
I wonder if something is going down the second night.

Don't tell me this...it's just going to make waiting till the 21st (and maybe the 20th) much more painful.

I'm not saying it is, I just find it interesting... Although, I think if they were finally going to do a DVD, they would wait until the next, and most likely last, album was released and put a few tracks off of there on it.
dude i got section 202 also,i m right next to you bro what row did you get? im 3 rows from the floor. at first i was on the phone with my pc on also and after 8 minutes it let me in so i hung up. it tried giving me 5th row section 303 pretty much nosebleeds, then it offered me 400s and finally on my last shot i got 202. do you think we will be able to see good that far over? should be able to see adam and maynard if its the normal stage setup. this show is the day before my bday and im driving 5 hours one way from northern oklahoma,i will probably get home at 5 in the morning and sleep my entire bday away. its worth it.

I'm towards the back row NN seats 21 and 22...the venue isn't that huge so we scored pretty good seats.
hell yea. i just dont lke being over in a corner. ive seen TOOL here before and had rail in the pit. saw killswitch engage,Lamb of god, soilwork and devildriver here too and had rail that time also. if you use verizon theatre virtual camera feature or whatever its called on the website, you can spin over and look and our section is about as far left as you can go if your looking with your back to the stage.
