so, if you call in to 98 kupd, on a special number, which i currently dont have, the "biggest tool" wins two tickets, as voted on by website visitors. Their interpretation of a tool is a jerk, although we all know that is an erroneous definition. so conjure up the thoughts of a prick and call in. also, if someone has just 1 extra ticket please email me at [email protected] and lets work something out. Since I cant pay $350 for a ticket, ill take the worse seat in the house.
I am wondering how this is going to work out. I don't think those seats are removable. Anyone ever been to a tool show that had seating?
An evening with Tool at Radio City Music Hall, 8/13/02. It was awesome. I was in the balcony, so it was a great view. And having a seat to call my own all night was nice. No jockeying for position, no standing behind some tall jerk, just a nice, relaxed evening with the boys.
I got very lucky with this show. Me and 6 of my friends managed to get tickets for this concert before it sold out. All orchestra seats. Right after we got our 7th ticket, it completely sold out. The guy behind the counter said that it sold out in 3 min. I cant believe we all got tickets for this. If for some reason, one of my friends backs out, ill let you all know. Good luck for those who dont have a ticket yet. hope to see you there!
kether, really, you got 7 tickets? did you get the Tempe tickets in California? as I bought the cd today at the memorial union at ASU, there was a long line of people (all with the new tool cd, with the exception of the guy who got pearl jam as well) and no one had any tickets. We go to the school that Tool is playing at, and none of us could manage to get a single ticket. I have accepted the fact i wont make it to this round of shows, but is there a secret to getting the tickets? I surely will be sick if i dont manage decent seats to this falls show.
The secret to getting a Tool ticket is waiting outside of an official Ticketmaster office (or an authorized one) about 1-2 hours before the store/ticket booth opens. Make sure you spot an employee and ask them to open early and make sure they have the show up on their screen ready to request tickets for. Thats what I did and I ended up getting 5th row tickets in the Orchestra seating. Have fun guys.

I feel your pain bro! ASU students should get priority of some sort for hosting the event. But we'd all like special treatment for something. Anyway the Coachella show was sweet. I was expecting more of a visual presentation but I think because it was a festival they just didn't want the extra expenditure to haul and set all their shit up. Assuming there is going to be a visual presentation like the Alex Grey 20 foot screens at the last few legs of the lateralus tour. Gammage is an amazing place, I have been there on many occassions and I am soooo psyched up for this show!

Yes, i got the tickets in california. I showed up about 15 minutes before they went on sale at a ticketmaster outlet at Robinsons May. A couple of my friends and i were the only people there the entire time. Plus, the clerk behind the desk was hilarious. Some old middle eastern guy that was just as amped to get us the tickets, as we were to get them. We deffinately lucked out.

Well everywhere I know of did a fucking raffle for your position in line which I wasn't aware of beforehand and I got totally fucked over...being the 1st one there to catch a show in Chicago out here and then getting the very last fucking spot in line....and to add salt to the burn, the idiot who shows up 5 min before ticket sale gets the 1st fucking spot....still ran home with time to catch and was online and in to buy tickets within 20seconds and couldn't get shit. Immediately started looking up brokers and literally 2min after the sale started they had them for $250 and up a pop...total bullshit
[edit] Luckily my sister lives out near the Gammage and got 2 tickets somehow so I am flyng out there tomorrow for the weekend...THANK GOD...see you all there

I hope my expectations aren't too high for this. I'm amped for this show though. Gammage. what a show it will be. Man, watch out for Rural road between McDowel and Apache. and University between Rural and Mill. Lots of nasty traffic and road work being done. Be safe everyone! See you at the show!!
TOOL NATION.....I'm getting TOOL-itized tonight! My first show....I'm freakin stoked. I'm so honored to be seeing them live in an intimate show this evening. Either that, or freakin LUCK that got my azz a ticket. Anyhoo.... I'm freakin excited. I've been jammin non stop for two weeks now..... To all TOOL heads attending the show... LET'S MAKE IT, SO ONE NO ONE WILL FORGET THIS SHOW!!! SPIRAL OUT TOOLIES.....
ASU GAMMAGE TICKET AVAILABLE. I know this is last moment, but I just found out that I will have one ticket available for tonight's concert. He was unable to get it off, and I would much rather have a real TOOL fan enjoy the show than one of my other friends who would not fully appreciate the experience. The ticket is fourth row, balcony. Send me a message and it's yours - $80 (I had the tickets overnighted to me originally).
If anyone has an extra ticket this late, email me at [email protected], I am willing to pay ca $100. Would be my first and only show, as I will be leaving this country soon.
