What if "Still have the transmitter" is actually:

"Stare at the transmission" or "transmittal" as Dry Mana said - sounds almost right. And makes sense...

I really like the transmitter line as "still heaven sends me to sing to the death rattle"
I was hearing transmitter at first but I'm hearing that now, plus it makes a lot more sense

I realise that its the newest thing to call this guy Maynard. Frankly, I can't say if it is or it isn't - but that fact remains that I am hearing "Credulous" and not "Incredulous". The line "Credulous at best..." makes sense to me in the context of the song.

The only other line I am uncertain of is the Transmitter/Transmittal line which may be interpreted as "Still heaven sends me..."

Aside from that, the lyrics here seem pretty accurate to me - regardless of who posted them.
