I must say, I didn't believe this when I first read it. There's this site about backmasking, I think it's Jeff Milner or something, and it shows examples of backwards messages like "I love Satan" and "I like to smoke marijuana a lot," but when you listen to it, you can tell it's a coincidence, and it simply sounds like they MIGHT be saying it. Only one of the examples there was real, and it was from a Pink Floyd song. Anyway, I played "Intension" backwards, expecting to hear something that MIGHT sound like it, but this is clearly no coincidence. It's intensional. (Sorry, couldn't resist) Anyway, thanks for reminding me why I love Tool so much.

I think there were some papers and preachers who actually went for "die eier von Satan" being a nazi rant, and that is what they are going for with this one. We'll see if the christians bite. There´s something that reminds me of Dune. You know, the book.
