This show makes me glad I didn't pay for shitty seats for the mansfield show. Hartford was one of the better shows on the first leg of the Lateralus tour in '01, probably because they played undertow.

Unfortunately, ticketmaster is the top option. Well, not "top" as in good (search some of the ticket threads) but "top" as in usage. It is ok if you dont mind paying extra charges, getting "best available" seats that arent the best available and you can type all the information required in under two minutes before your tickets are released. (Apologies for the rant. Personal issues with TM) There is also a call number and a box office.
THE BEST WAY TO GET TICKETS would be to get a "taskforce" of sorts. Have a few people look for tickets and whoever has the best collection of seats buys. Or call the box office or ticketmaster at the same time you are searching TM. I've also heard great things about going to the box office window directly. All options are hit or miss though. The Hartford Civic Center Box Office is located in the Civic Center Mall outside the Main Entrance to the arena, on the corner of Asylum and Trumbull street. so are these tix onsale saturday or monday?
edit: i just called ticketmaster and the guy was not very helpful, although he did say tickets usually go onsale on a friday or saturday. He said at this moment the promoter has not contacted Ticketmaster playing in Connecticut and he said to keep checking the website. I told him that i recieved an email from the civic center telling me monday august 7th at noon was the onsale date, but he said they could be wrong. Help!

Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 5 at 10am at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will be available at the Civic Center Box Office on Monday, August 7 at Noon. Civic Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-5pm.

Ah humbug.. Who cares of the sounds sucks? You don't need crispe live music to enjoy the show. Tool is an experience most ppl won't know about, sucks for them.

Hah you must be crazy..Tweeter Center in Mansfield has horrible sound no matter where your sitting, I am surprised they are EVEN playing there..no good light show, no good sound dynamics..blah. So fucking glad I wait and got tix for this show..
Tool + indoor arena = MINDBLOWING.
And yeah..Section 7 Row H Seats 1-3. Can't wait till Oct 5th damnit.

I just want to say that Ticketmaster is a big piece of crap. I refreshed the page at 10 am, got in "line", and got decent tickets. And I had all my credit card information saved and I was logged in. Then, when I went to submit the order to be charged to my card, I got a "processing error." And the stupid page only gives you three minutes to submit the order, so I ran out of time and had to get in "line" again for different tickets. So I ended up with Section 120, row N. The last time I saw Tool, I think I had section 215 or 216...I'm not sure if this is better or worse.

yeah i got to less than one minute, then back to 9 minutes, then down to less than 1 again, then timed out. i tried again, and got a could not process message. then after 7 minutes i got upper deck right over the stage.
so i used the phone and got 122 row h...i wanted 121 or 122 if i couldnt get floor so it worked out perfectly.

i ended up cancelling my tickets. No intention of going all the way out to hartford and saving up for shows that may come up later. Im pretty sure that they will add shows in between Oct 7 and Nov 3 when its all said and done.
