I have no desire to download a subpar encoding of a TOOL album. They deserve better than that. Anyway, I need dedicated time with the headphones for the first listen. Been that way since Aenima came out.

I really respect all of you who have been able to wait.

I really wanted to and feel guilty that I was unable to experience the album in the way the band intended. But I just could not resist knowing that i could be listening to the album within 15 minutes with 2 weeks to wait.

So respect to you all! You shouldn't feel embarressed that you all have stronger will power than the rest of us.

i waited long enough... 5 years. great album. i really hope that on MAY 2nd we dont get a new wave of cpmplainers. give this album a few listens and you will undoubtedly love it.

still havent heard any of the songs on 10000 days besides vicarious and a snippet of another song when i was listening to the jjj interview. (I can only remember how one sounded)

I respect how well you're doing. I got it on the day of the leak and I can safely say there's not that much point in you waiting. It won't make a difference.

It won't make it any more or any less enjoyable. The music will still sound the same regardless of the fact that you have artwork to look at and a CD.

I too am still waiting like the loyal Tool fan that I am. Our boys need the royalty checks.

I have the advantage/disadvantage, depending on your point of view, of living in an area that doesn't have any radio stations that play new music. I consider myself lucky because I will be able to listen to the album from beginning to end on my headphones without anything to go on except the 30 seconds from toolband.com.

I had to run a Physical Fitness Test this morning at 0600. On my way there, I heard about 20 second of the single. It was such a tease cause I heard so little of it, but it sounded badass. That is the only new Tool I've heard, and probably won't hear any more until the 2nd.

Yeah well Ill get to hear the album and look the artwork together for the first time ever. And I didnt download the crappy internet version. (sound quality) So therefore Im gonna get a different memory then when if i dl of the net. Which a few have admitted they are ashamed.

I'm waiting, and it's really difficult, because my pre order SHOULD have arrived yesterday, but now I probably won't get it til Monday. :(
