Thank you. Yeah, I love that one, too. A lucky shot.
I like those shots of the grasshopper! Very crisp.

Here are a couple of pictures I took a couple of days ago while wandering through an arboretum. I found the " tree art" a very interesting idea

I like this one in particular, cool idea and a nice photo.
I went out and about this morning, here are a few of my photos.
Liken
Padlock

I've been taking lots of closeups as part of a bit of a project... It's a challenge trying to frame macro shots so it's not completely abstract...

Nice shots, everyone =)
I dont want to single out...but yours made me smile Marek.
And Eglyn, your close-ups look really good... a personal project or something for study?
I have just been away for a month in a small country town.. loved it out there. Here are some pics..
river b&w
branches
from the car window
cropped the last to remove the blur at the bottom.

When he looked at the river one, he said 'what makes black and white so good'. I never really thought about why i like it, but i told him that sometimes colour is distracting and b&w just lets you appreciate without complexity.
Anyway, his scorn (maybe not the right word) irritated me. Id like another perspective is all

This reminded me of this picture I took of leaves.
And I think that sometimes death is sometimes just more pertinent. It's not necessarily morose, it just is. If that makes any sense.
