why? because tool did a funny song?? if this is a fake album its the best fake album ive heard. give the friggin thing a chance. its actually really damn good.

think about it, the leak said (advance), tool didn't send any adcance copies, they only would of done this if they wanted it leaked.

tool prevented lateralus from leaking till the day before (when it was sent to stores). this new album they have been EVEN MORE protective with, there is no way it leaked accidentally.

So let's say it is a fake. What's the point? Now that fans have an album they're just going to stop trying to find Tool songs online? I don't buy it. And the b-side theory is fucking stupid too. Having a decoy album would be classic, and would be very 'tool'. I think that's the reason people are still clinging to this idea. They want tool to do something out of the ordinary again, and this would go down in music history as an amazing prank. I just don't think it's the case. I'm going to focus on the music in front of me right now. If come may 1st it turns out to be a different album, then I'll focus on that one then.

how the hoax works, is everyone who thinks 10 000 days is real, and good; are not allowed to listen to the real album when it comes out.

then just release an album with a different title, tracklisting and cover than announced?

k i hope its a hoax. i think 5 years for this is horrible. the vocals are terrible. the guitar isnt that great. its not tool at all. some of the bass lines are good and thats it.

Well, the album could still be called 10k Days (which it IS), still have the same tracklisting and track lengths whilst having the 'real songs' on it with Vicarious still being the real single.

After listening to the album more though i'm more convinced it's real and happier with it being real than I was an hour ago.....
