Thoughts provoke me to consider
taking you out into the world.
We'll dig deep, and deeper more
till we find that special spot.

Courage whispers,

The wall between us keeps growing
It's now too high to climb.
I'm walking around, discovering
it's neverending.
I grab things to break it down,
but none of them seem to scratch the brick.
I've grown tired and weary,
almost to the point of giving it up.

Hope whispers
"Don't give up your almost there."

As the days pass,
my connection to you gets strong.
I can't stop wondering,
if you are still on the otherside
