Well, atleast Fred Durst has a little sense of what good music is.....anymore and maybe he'd realize he sucks.

Now I'm gonna feel weird the next time I sing this in the car.

Did he forget the lyrics? He was to busy saying "Yeaaaa," He skipped the, "my god's will, becomes me..." then tried to softly come back in.
I wonder what the Tool fans in the crowd were thinking...

When they did these covers, were they aware that Maynard hated their music and personalities?

I personally doubt any Tool "fans" were at a Limp Dick show.

And if they were Tool "fans" who also liked Limp Bullshit, I doubt they'd have heard Opiate.

Re: Limp Bizkit covered this?

in that video when he asks if anybody likes tool, he receives a pretty big cheer from the crowd.
didn't wes borland actually hang out with the band a while back?
they should've shot him on sight after that abomination of a cover.

what makes it a complete disgrace is they not only covered it but actually speeded it up and made it all limp bizkified. hell, while they were at it, they should've just modified the lyrics to "deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow....like me".

durst must die.

Re: Limp Bizkit covered this?

Lil Jon knows more about music than Fred Durst ever will. Dumb ass lyrics, but the guy knows a thing or two about production. So, Lil Jon's would probably be less worse than Durst's attempt.

Amy Lee's steering a bit on fat, though, no?
They had a literal box of burgers on their Anywhere But Home tour.

She's eye-catching, but on the borderline size-wise.

Re: Limp Bizkit covered this?

I read this in the Revolver Mag, I thought it was kinda ironic so I'd like to share it with all of the HARDCORE FRED DURST fans in here. LIMP BIZKIT ROCKS! YEAH!!!!!!

"Tool's probably the best band, i think, on the planet," Fred Durst told MTV News a little while ago. "There's something wrong with those guys. They're too good. They know something that the rest of the world doesn't know...I can't even be in a category with that band." << At least the douche admits it.

He cant be in a category with Tool but he covers opiate?? What the fuck was he on when he did that horrible cover? God damn you fred!!

ICP and Limp Bizkit are competing for the title of "Shittiest music ever made." I don't even know how that song Rollin' was a single, who the fuck writes a song about rolling in their car? Actually a lot of the crappy rappers do that.

I've always thought that TOOL was one of the most underrated Nu Metal bands in the 90s. They should have been way bigger than Limp Bizkit.
