But he let me hear the new single vicarious and it's really cool just like that andy king review said only it's about 1 min shorter probably edited for radio - nutty eh!

That would be easy to do. Everytime he logged in, your name happened to log out...He wouldnt release his "leak" to anyone, but you. Then when he started sounding exactly like you, he started calling you a fraud. GO figure...

Just wondering what he has to say about the stereoscopic leaks that have appeared. It seems he has responded to most of the other rumors in one form or another.

do you think he would be clear and honest about it if they were real?

and i think a couple people tried but the photos were supposedly taken down because of a lawsuit threat or something...

i mailed him through the toolband mailer earlier today regarding the Berlin gig and zing, there was a toolband update less then an hour later.

maybe I should send him other e-mail, that isn't so hateful.

I emailed him saying I knew they were purposely leaked, that they're fake, and my reasons for believing so. Bastard has yet to respond.
Maybe he'll respond in a week or so. Not that he'd have anything to fascinating to respond with.

He's replied to every e-mail I've ever sent to him. There've been at least 4 that I can remember. He's usually pretty prompt too.

I dunno, I think he's the perfect liason for Tool. He'll answer you once in a while, if you're writing about something thats not retarded. He replied to me with a few lengthy emails regarding art bell/faipp de oiad before Lateralus was released. Wasn't really expecting that at all.

I probably wouldnt expect him to answer me as to whether stuff is fake/real though, until after the album is released.

WRONG.

You do not cross your eyes. That has the wrong effect. You have to relax and gaze it out, like letting your eyes go the opposite way. If you cross your eyes, it's the complete wrong way and the bushes pop out when they should be in the background.

This seems obvious that that's the real liner art, but Jones doens't know how to look at Stereoscopic stuff just as bad as that dude on Mallrats.

Actually, the same image happens for me either way. In fact, it's easier if I cross my eyes and then move in, finding the middle image and then focusing on that.

That might be so. But it's not working the right way if you cross your eyes. I guess certain people don't notice it, but it's the exact opposite effect depending on which way you do it. If you cross your eyes all the rocks, trees are popping out while the kid is in the background. If you gaze the kid is properly in the foreground while everything is in the background like if you had a pair of 3D glasses on.

Dross, the effect can be done either way - if the images are reversed, it can look correct when you cross your eyes. Most "magic eye" images (like the one in mallrats) are made to work the say you describe, but look at the images on the liner notes and on Adam's website - the images are too far apart for you to relax your eyes and have them overlap. The maximum you can move the images when you look past them (at the horizon) is your eyes-width apart, meaning if the two images are more than about 2.5-3 inches apart, they're impossible to do that way.

These are made to look at with your eyes crossed, and the correct perspective is on the correct side, so with eyes crossed it looks 3d.

They look pretty legit to me. I mean, that looks like Maynard, they are stereoscopic, which Adam is into, and they just seem to fit pretty well. Oh, and is that a mohawk? He doesn't appear to have a mohawk in his reflection in the mirror.

He talked about aldaria openly because it was fake. He's not giving a straight answer on this probably because it's real and it would just draw more attention. Try the links that Andorion sent Blair, there's no album art on the first link now. (at least I don't see any)

It's certainly not impossible to gaze those images as I can do it. It's tough for most poeple but I've looked at a lot of images like this. I stand by what I said because when I cross my eyes everything is in reverse of what it should be. If I relax, it's properly shown in 3D. Now there's probably a way to make images so when you cross your eyes it shows in 3D, but the images on Adams Jones Myspace are not configured this way. I guess I'm the minority. Oh well.
