You can tell the guy who made the vid tried really, really hard to be Tool. To be fair, though, the scene where the guy comes through the TV set is a neat visual. .
That's from the video for Aohex Twin's "Come To Daddy"
People like you are the idiot "fans" who sit back with a beer in one hand and their cock in the other waiting for Tool to get down on their knees and serve them.
Adam has said more than once that they are simply waiting for the CG house to finish it. Instead of doing stop motion, they are doing computer animation, and they sent it off to be finished and THOSE guys are lagging on it. Adam et al are not making this video, some CG company is. So if you really want to shout your greedy frustration, at least direct it in the right place.
thats funny that you dignified me with a response. it was a mere stomp on the ground to see in which direction the roaches would head. Who is this CG house so that us "idot fans" can go after it with our pitchforks and torches.
I am not waiting for anyone to do anything for me....
if you were curious, it's the beer in my left hand, and your tranny mothers cock in my right hand.
Now rustle up your panties in a bunch and talk amongst your selves!

And we're very, very pissed off.
I watched a news item on TV two days ago. Surgeons in Shanghai are trick poor individuals into thinking they need transplants of various kinds, so the doctors can experiment with new transplant techniques. These experiments often fail and the victims who weren't sick in the first place are left to die as their bodies reject the transplanted organs. I cried when I watched this.
I am curious as to how some kind of CG scenery can convey the message contained within the lyrics of this song. I truly wonder whether "more of the same" of Adam's style can really put across the depth of disgust at human nature that Vicarious expresses.

I mean, all weird, esoteric interpretations aside, when have Adam's videos ever had any real direct relavence to the lyrics?
To be honest, I can see it in all of the videos so far. It is abstract but it is there. I don't know, I guess I just have my doubts about this one. It would have to be extremely evocative on a fundamental level to work for me.

So you're just another dipshit stirring up shit? Awesome. TDN needs more people like you, I love reading bullshit posts that people make just to "see what the response is." Or maybe that's actually what you believed and that was your lame excuse. Either way, you're an idiot.

Stinkfist is a fairly obvious one, I think...

TDN doesn't need personification, it's a fucking opinion page.
Guess what? I was at this site for opinions! whodathunkit?!?!
You're a douche. and are stupid for being a Knight in shining armor for a website with your sword of sarcasm and a shield of anonymity.
It's even funnier to me at this point.....
TDN needs more douches.... so invite your family. Send your tranny mother my best wishes....

One thing I don't understand. There has been a whole bunch of Tool interviews done since the release of the new cd, and almost none of the interviewers asks for the info on the videos in spite of the fact it is one of the most intersting issues. If I could interview them, I would try to get any info on it.
They have to sign a contract not to say anything about the video because it is so revolutionary! Oh yeah baby.

Whether it is Vicarious, Jambi, or The Pot; I will be be buying and playing the video as much I have this CD. At first, I wasn't sure about it, but after the 3rd listening I was hooked. Hopefully, something will be released soon !

That is one thing i don't get as well, I get the feeling something crazy is going on because everyone is so quiet about the whole situation.
tool seems to only do things that they are absolutely comfortable with doing. maybe they would have been comfortable releasing the video wwith the album release, but not at some artbitrary time afterward. perhaps they didn't even bother to finish it.
