FOR SALE
Two tickets to Atlanta. Section 118, Row G, Seats 5-6.
They are e-tickets, which I know will deter some of you. I'm asking $158 for the two of them, which is about 45 cents above face value (if you happen to have $157.10, I will accept that too). I'll need the cash sooner rather than later, as I don't want to risk somehow not selling them right before the show.
I bought these on Monday morning after somebody else must have returned them. I thought they might be better than my row U (high) seats in section 106, but I have changed my mind about that.
Just bought 3 tickets, taking two good friends, and I have another friend who lives across from the Center, so we have a place to stay that night! Went to my boss to ask off work for the day after, and he gave me the day of off too! 2012 is already shapin' up! Can't wait!

what section of floor/ row, etc..?
I missed the onsale date. planned to go to Orlando show and meet up with a friend but that plan might fall through. if it does I will be going to the ATL show definitly 1 way or another

floor sec 11, row B, seat 1. should be a really good seat, i typically like to be on the floor but a fair ways back from the stage so you can see the lights/lasers/etc in all their mind rendering splendor. like i said, i only want face value back, and would much rather unload it to someone on here who is a real fan.
Havent posted here since the last show.. but, im down for a pre show beer or 12 If anybody wants to..Some friends live a few blocks from the arena..should be a blast

Is anybody interested in checking this show out with me? I have two seats in section 106, and the person that I was hoping would be able to go with me can't go. I knew that was a possibility, but I was not going to let Tool pass by without seeing them.
1 hard ticket sec. 106 row z killer seat on Justin's side. Want face value plus fees ticket is. $ 90.00 . That is what I paid Ticketmaster I have a receipt.

The people from fourtheye are doing some sort of tailgate. I think I am going to head to that, simply because I would rather get there early to avoid the traffic. Traffic heading out of the perimeter after 5 or so is absolutely miserable, and the venue is already 40 minutes away from the city without traffic.
Godmutherfucking damnit, they played parabola tonight so looks like sober for tomorrow??
H!!!!!
I know you're reading this, Adam Jones. So make this happen.
H!!!!

Do you know the details of this meet up? I'd like to go, I need to kick it with some Georgians and fellow tool
Fanatics.

As they take the stage I just want to say Im glad I got to catch them on this tour. Its obvious that to me the band was feeling it and that an album is fast approaching!
TOOL 2012!

Sorry I didn't respond. I was starting to avoid this thread to avoid spoilers. I didn't know where they were either, really. I just walked across the parking lots until I saw a big tent with the tool army logo on it and a bunch of people hanging out by it.
a short story: You may not believe me, but my friend and I saw Maynard before the show in Duluth. He was right there, amongst us mere mortals, walking through the crowd, dressed as a police officer. He was walking briskly and talking on the phone. But it was him. As he walked by, I said to my friend, "That cop looks like Maynard." My friend, who has followed TOOL for as long as I have (15 years) agreed and asked, "Are you sure that's not him?" I replied that it wasn't, "It just looks like him." This occurred about 20 minutes before TOOL took the stage. When Maynard emerged on stage, it was clear that he had a night stick on his hip and it became clear that he was dressed as an police officer. He had removed the more formal officer vest that he had on in the lobby (he had on a shirt that read "Postal" during the concert) but the rest of the uniform was in tact. Before I could say anything, my friend punched me on the arm and accused me of ruining our opportunity to meet one of our personal, musical heros. I don't know what I would have said to him. I'm not sure if he would have given us the time of day, but I missed the chance to find out because I doubted my (and my friend's) intuition. The most that I can say is that I made eye contact with Maynard, but I can say no more. And, yes...I do have a man crush on Maynard.
By the way, the concert was amazing. Best of the four I've been to in the past 6 years. I hope when Maynard said "Fuck you, last concert" he wasn't making a more significant statement about the band's future or lack thereof. I hope we get to see another album and at least one more round of touring. Take care.

That is awesome! I had a similar experience with Adam the day before a concert in Milan, Italy. I wasn't completely sure because he kinda looks Italian and I doubted myself, but it was definitely him... I was so disappointed that I lacked the courage to say anything. If you haven't already, you should definitely post this on the review thread for Duluth...

Maynard was referring to the band taking a longer than usual break just before Aenema.
