hey I'm flying in from Arizona to see this show...anyone in section 1 row a? I have seats 9 & 10. Is there a pit section? This is my 6th show this tour....I think the last one unless I can find someone who wants to go to Spain or something....

OK--so the bus will drop me off in Hartford at 1 Union Pl. Would any of you helpful folks be kind enough to suggest the easiest way to get to the arena from there? Someone told me it's not really very far. Is that true?

Is anybody going to this show from western massachusetts? My friend and I are in Northampton and Sunderland, respectively, and we'd like to hitch a ride with somebody ... if anybody in MA is going and can pick us up on the way we'll chip in for gas and food. If youwanna meet us for coffee sometime so you can see we're not creepy that is acceptable. send me a message, please. I really don't want to miss this.

It's not far at all...you can walk from Union Place to the Civic Center without a problem, it's only 2 blocks or so from there.
I think from Union Place if you walk right up Allyn St. the Civic Center should be right in front of you. I'm not sure what side of Union Place you'll get dropped off on, but I think Allyn Street is on the opposite side of Union Place from where you'll be. So if you walk around Union Place you should find Allyn without a problem...it has a couple bars on it (the Brickyard, The Pour House, and some others) just so you know you are where you're supposed to be. At the end of Allyn you're going to have to walk around the building to get to an entrance, but you'll be looking at the Civic Center

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. I might actually head over to Cedar Hill Cemetery first and get some etchings if I have enough time before the show. But it's good to know that after TOOL f's me up, I'll only have to stumble a few blocks down the street to get back to the bus station.

Hey does anyone know this venue?? I was wondering if there is a pit or g/a section? I have front row tix but I don't know if they are up against the stage or the first row behind the pit. I didn't come across any ga tix for sale so I'm hoping not. I'm flying in from AZ for my last US show and would love to be right up at the stage.....Not part of a mosh pit, but anyways I'll be having a great time..... Anyone in sec. 1????
Also, what is the weather like out there??? Like I said, I'm from Arizona so we are still in the 90's here..... THX

krzymom, there's no pit, so you're in luck!
Weather has been variable lately. In the last week or so it's mostly been moderate during the day (around 70-75), with a few days reaching 80. Had a little rain on a ocuple of days. Been getting cold at night (50ish) the last couple of nights.
Check weather.com for the next 10 days.

Whitewater.....Thx for the info on the venue and weather!! I really appreciate it...I did have to get my tix from a broker but they were well worth my hubby's hard earned money!! Hehe....This is my 6th show this tour and I finally made it to the front row. I have been 3rd row(2x) and 2nd row(2x) and the worst G/A at the San Diego Street Scene. Which was a horrible crowd experience..... So, I'm glad I'm getting the best for last. Hope everyone has a mind blowing time!!!

Actually, I have had this happen before (although not for a Tool show). The promoters hold back blocks of primo seats for radio stations, the band, VIPs, etc.
Then, a day or 2 before the show, the ones that aren't spoken for are put on sale. I've been front and center for 2 shows that I bought the afternoon of the show!
This morning, there was nothing but upper level available, then there were lower level, and finally this! I have to admit I was shocked!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Bradley Airport to the Civic Center? I'm flying in from AZ tomorrow and want to know if I'm gonna have to go straight to the show or if I'll have time to check in to my hotel first.... Thanks in advance for any input!!!
