Not really a band at this point...more of a long-distance recording project with my former band(s) members. I'm working on some solo acoustic stuff now, although if I find the right group of people here in Mankato, I'd love the chance to just sing again.
The Kurdt Go-Bang song a buddy and I did for laughs.
Death Is Cold...was from my band CLEM during my college days.
Lycanthrope is from my two-man acoustic group Moon Runner I was in for the last few years before I moved.
Hope you get a kick out of them...I change songs regularly.

Aye that's it, I check this thread regularly, I add everyone that leaves their link, but quite clearly most of the people are dropping their own link and not reading any of the rest of the thread at all. That's not networking!

Well, I just haven't had a lot of time lately to check everyone's sites (you can reference my number of posts here :-)). Just started back in school for my (second) Master's degree...but I'll get to people's sites as I get my schedule more routine! I'm always looking for cool undiscovered music.

My band can be found in my signature. We're very Tool influenced and mainly exist in the metal and progressive rock genres. Give it a listen, let me know what you think.

I just got through listening to your songs. I really like the diversity in your music--some very heavy, others more...spacey? It would be very easy to fall into the trap of every song sounding the same, but yours all stood out nicely. Yet they all had a bit of trippiness to them.
I really liked your use of layers of sound. Are you using a drum machine or programming, or are you playing the drums? Either way, very impressive rhythmic changes. Lots of good dynamics too. I really enjoyed them.

Thanks alot man, your comments mean alot. I'm into alot of electronica especially stuff like Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, and I like to change the dynamics in my songs, so that makes me throw in ambient verses and things like that.
The drums are midi programmed and run through a drum synth. Sometimes it's Drumkit From Hell, sometimes the drum synths on a Roland XV-2020. I make sure I can play the drum parts before I use them (I'm a guitarist primarily but I have play bass and drums in other bands), but quite often I write the drum parts on the computer first and then make sure they are playable.

Wow, Cryo's Eve, you sound pretty amazing. Cantrabia is one of the best things I've heard on myspace. Your vocalist is very haunting, and the effects you've used on his voice (sounds like pitch correction - not that he needs it) really adds to the atmosphere. That song builds so much, it's a wonderful piece of art. Kinda sad to hear Hybrid sounding pretty generic though guys :(

Trial By Error: nice rough versions; vocalist has good energy; i could complain about lack of variety.
Twilight Amber Ego: "Dimensions of Innovation" is my favorite! I'd like to see you live... don't know when I'll be in Europe again, unfortunately... do you do live shows?
a soundtrack to nothing: became a soundtrack to 10 minutes of my night; concept was too poppy for my liking, but the others induced hypnogogia - wa wa wee wa!
E & F: diggin' Climb Pt. 1
Big Richo: nice quality; are those tabla synth? i'd love some falafal right about now.
Inverse Order: too poppy for my tastes, but the production quality is very good and the music is tight.
Dos Funk: i've got a fever and the only cure is some cowbell; not my cuppa' tea, but high qual.
OPUS: high quality; sounds like the songs are ready for vocals/lyrics; good luck!
Closed Quarter: nice line-up; i really like you stuff - if you had a few heavier parts where the Katy could belt out you'd be uber listenable/ in my playlist consistently; nice!
Drenchten Echo: relaxing; the visual and aural treats together remind me of the deserts out your way.
Myopic Mecca: your music wouldn't load; nice page though.
Riverblind: "Pian xin ze an" has got great energy, i really dig the opening; i'd like to hear more polished recordings.
Vestascension: "Track 2" is my favorite! you definitely have something good; add some vocals and put on a show near the beach - i'll be there... well, i would* if i lived in the area. i'd be half-tempted to write lyrics/vocals for you...
Tomacco: nice; not for me, though.
Parable: seems like you have good inten[s]ions, but the name-thing throws me off, you know, Parabol off Lateralus ect...; you sound real good, although the vocalist sounds like hes trying to sound like someone other than himself; not for me, but would work for many.
The Heath Beat: sounds solid; not my bag, baby.
Wild Goose: sounds like Syd Barret right around the time he showed up to a Pink Floyd session bouncing up and down, brushing his teeth - though the lyrics are more coherent; i like it.
Dilation: i'd come see you live; good energy; untitled seems very promising; vox plz.
Dave's Tune[s] of Wonder: Frusciante-esque; you should give singing a try, but overall i like your playing/writing.
Akasha: i'm interested in hearing your stuff; the tabla is one of my favorite instruments.
Neon Creation: nice work; i'd like to hear with some lyrics.
Comfort In Cold: not bad, jedis; had trouble hearing much.
Rainchild: southern rock, i like; good bar music.
The Dank: i love one music-making gets to the point of rediculousness; it's like 60 minutes on acid.
Solid State Logic: hope SSL and rockstar energy drinks make some money; "we're rockstars who drink rockstar. hiye! hiye! hiye!" let me be your servent.
Secular Glitch: nice garage rock; best wishes!
Flash Git: nice drumming!
Deadfish, Idaho: like the name; reminds me of acoustic Nirvana; nice vocals; spiral out those lyrics, keep going - you're getting there!
Icband: fairly chaotic; some tightening up could take you to that next level.
Haich: not sure what's going on there, but i like it!
Arizona Tribe: i really dig the backbeats; you've given me some ideas for my own projects; thanks!
Jazz Excursion: good version of "Chameleon"; you've got some talent in the band.
Cryo's Eve: Michigan, ho! inspiring; definitely committed; not much to complain about; i do wish the guitar had a bit more low end; couldn't load "Cantrabia" or "Voyeur"; "Hybris" really whips the llama's ass!
All of my projects are always in the process of adding more music and ocular entertainment. The format is "My Contributions" : "Band Name". Enjoy!

Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the comments dude, and I'm glad to hear what you said about the heavier stuff - these songs were recorded in May 05 and we have come on a bomb since then, we are a lot heavier, more complex and yes, there are a lot more parts where Katy 'belts it out' as you put it... will let you know as soon as we have new tracks recorded, probably in the New Year.
I'll be checking out people's stuff next weekend hopefully... have already added some of you, from the start of the thread...
