Tell me if I'm wrong...
But snowing the cradle (with coke, PCP, whatever) and rob the grave. When a person dies their skin produces a fair amount of DMT, so rob the gave to snow the cradle is basically saying, sprinkle the skin on the pot.
Drug reference?
Yeah, never tried it...lol

lol, and I highly doubt it's about smoking somebody's skin..One of the best theories I've heard thus far is that "Rob the grave to snow the cradle" means to buffer the presidential voting ballot by using deceased people to cast votes to win an election.

I'm sure they try, just like Microsoft tries to keep hackers from getting around security in internet explorer, there's always a way around it somehow.

I think this is great, I have been podering what these lyrics meant for awhile(I really like them) I think that that is what it could be referencing, highly possible.
the election theory and all political interps, are , in my opinion Wrong. BEcause, it just seems to obvious, and wasteful to put this song in that context based on a few lines. Also, I want it to mean more, that definetly has something to do with it.
TO close I think that if you are correct about the skin and stuff, I believe that it is not about thaT, But useing that as symbolic of what the action means.
But, I have always saw this as symbolizing a more familar theme from undertow
life feeds on life. Grave and cradle as asymbol of rebirth, and the cycle of life.
and thus song just using that basic truth and throwing it into another perspective that is relative to what ever the song is about.

I wonder if 'Rob the grave to snow the cradle' might refer to robbing Jesus' body from his grave so as to have "proof" that he ascended into Heaven, and therefore snow (ie, to persuade or deceive) all the people that he was the messiah, which would make this song, at least on one level, about religion and religious leaders being all "high" and mighty. Then again, maybe the grave's name is indeed Rob.

seeing as how the next line is "then burn the evidence down," I think Inner_eulogy's take on it is probably the most relevant.

Why thank you, Paraflux.....you actually agree with me on something. I'm impressed. Another idee I have which relates to the line "then burn the evidence down" is I can't think of any deceased bodies or perhaps identification records being known to have been burned. I also wonder if it has any correlation to the 9/11 attacks in this sense: Rob the grave to snow the cradle, then burn the evidence down could mean that (if you believe the whole US government 9/11 conspiracy that they planned this attack) is that if they purposely planned this attack or purposely let it happen in order to pass all these laws (ie Patriot Act) and cage our freedom anymore. In their eyes, a small price to pay to get the law of the land that they want, and then set off demolitions in the towers to ensure the evidence was gone. So in other words, they robbed the grave (made a sacrifice) to snow the cradle (to pad our country with what they call "necessary security measures and laws") and made sure know one could ever find out by finishing the job.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not condone nor do I support this theory. I sit on the borderline per sey.

The song uses cliches to attack the governemnt and the powerful. As in Russian formalism "make the stone stoney". In this passage the cliche is "snow job". So it basiclly means to rob the past to fool the future. The strong dictate history; Governments use their interpretations of events to control furture generations. Like everything history depends on perception. Thus, Robbing from history to fool the future.

this song reminds me of jerk off, but like the guy who told him "there's a right and wrong" pissed him off and called him black or something.

I would have to agree with what vegeta stated. But that also can be interpreted many different ways. I personally believe the song is pointing out the hypocritical irony that alot of religious followers share. The next verse, "Soapbox house of cards and glass. So don't go tossin your stones around." refers to churches, and the historical act of stoning.

Or, it could be a reference to the "Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" saying.
A house of cards/glass is easily destroyed. They know how fragile the whole institution is if everyone knew the truth about it, so they shouldn't stir up trouble with those who do.
imo

yes. this seems to make the most sense.

My interpretation of these lines:
Rob the grave to snow the cradle
-Police (indigo) deceive by perpetuating and reinforcing dead perceptions of marijuana/hemp.
And burn the evidence down
-They visibly burn the seized plants.
Soapbox house of cards and glass
-But hypocrites go home to glass houses and toke (or swallow, snort, etc.)
So don't go tossin' your stones around
-Then they have the stones to point the finger and proclaim the guilt of another
Ganja ‘police.’
The song addresses spiritual hypocrisy as well.
There are many who don’t practice what they preach and claim salvation by projecting guilt.
You practically raised the dead
Some of them ‘rob’ Jesus’ grave by giving his death a meaning and purpose that perpetuates guilt to ‘snow’ the innocent.
Guilt ‘police.’

You're missing one key word with your 'indigo' theory. 'Cozened'. The line being:
"Now you're weeping shades of cozened indigo"
A much simpler term would be 'crocodile tears'.
Put into context with a 'kangaroo court' as well as "Liar, Lawyer, mirror show me what's the difference" - I would interpret the whole as being not simply just hypocrisy, but the hypocrisy inherent in the idea that someone who is, for all intents and purposes, as guilty as any other prosecuting another individual and how often the pursuit of this phony form of justice leads to as many innocent individuals being persecuted, prosecuted, and jailed as there are guilty people.
Guilt and innocence make no difference in a court and if an attorney gets in a little too deep obfuscating the facts ("eyeball deep in muddy waters"), they can perform a little song and dance to divert attention just like a magician with sleight of hand ("practically raised the dead") to ensure that they sway the jurors' opinions to one they find more favorable.
Anyone willing to go through that amount of work, not in search of truth, but instead of 'winning' to make themselves look better, has 'got to be high'.

Cozened = to mislead by means of a petty trick or fraud; deceive
Indigo = symbol color of law enforcement and spiritual energy
Hypocrites of all types cry crocodile tears when they’re busted, furthering the deception.

The song can be interpreted on multiple levels and I think your perspective here is absolutely valid. All of us are guilty of hypocrisy on some level.

I would be in agreement except for the ‘as many as’ reference.
