indeed. I won't lie, after seeing what sonny has put up, I'm sort of disappointed. Blair said the setlist would change up....and it sounds like the exact same setlist from 2006. What's the fun in that?

it sounds like a warm up show. i bet tomorrow's will be a lot better when they've realized what they can do.
I am hoping. Like I said, and as you know, a Tool show will rule any way they slice it. But I honestly would rather hear some different songs sometimes. Don't think that's too much to ask, and I can't beleive they don't get bored playing the same set for 2 years straight.
I'm sure tomorrow will be slightly switched up, but probably just 1 or 2 songs. Either way, this venue I bet is SICK!
Damn it where is D/R/T!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!! And Third Eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

possibility that since its a 2night stand, this show might have capped the previous tour and tomorrow starts a new one? just a thought. you cant play similr setlists at the same pace back to back. subtle changes most likely with right in two....but i gotta think that a revamped list is comming. alot of these tour stops are near places previously played.
The show was great guys. I totally agree with wanting to hear a new (old) song. But really it's hard to feel anything but appreciation right now. Wings was stunning
Dunno if I can do this tomorrow. But I .. Well I love this place and Tool fans. It won,t last forever, so I am going to enjoy it while I can. Peace!
Yeah thanks again for the updates. Lets hope tomorrow shows a different set, cuz I've paid like $500 to see this same set 3 times already last year. I'm almost more looking foward to the sound of this venue. Hell yeah!
Agree that The Grudge could single-handedly change the perception of thei set. But it was so good to hear Jambi kick in to open things up that it seems almost impossible for things to be better. Different, yes. I just don't know about better
The venue is sweet, Briz. I guess I thought you were there tonight! Anyway, it's everything it's cracked up to be.
Also, Danny Carey had a beer in the booth right next to us at the bar. I did not ask, but the arm looks fine.
I was sitting to his left. Shaved head and blue striped button up shirt. Didn't see you, though.
Granted this was my first show, so it might not be entirely objective for those who have seen them multiple times, but I thought it was amazing. The venue was incredible. Still hoping they'll stick in Triad and Ticks n' Leeches like TB.com suggested, but I was satisfied with what they played. Be there again tonight!
White SRH shirt, short guy with reddish hair and shorts. I will be there oh maybe about 5 or something? 6? Probably just walking around hanging out, maybe stop by the Island bar or whatever real quick. Section 303 Row H as well.
That was a great show, except for the setlist. The sound was great, I was in GA right in the middle about 4-5 people back, which was like 3 feet. There were a couple idiots thrashing around quite a bit, but it wasn't too bad.
I hung out at the Island Bar before the show and met a few people, but no one from here. I'll be there again tonight wearing one of the new white TOOL concert shirts with red lettering on the front and the black face on the back and grey shorts. Say hi.
Hey I just posted in the TDN forums, but I'll stick it in here just in case since it is so close to showtime.
I have 2 GA floor tickets for the show tonight 4/28 at The Pearl @ the Palms in Las Vegas for sale. Really wanted to go but other things came up and won't be able to make it.
I'm not trying to make money off of it, I'm just asking what I paid for on Ticketmaster. Which was $206.85, we'll take $200 to make it even. We can meet you to give you e-tickets or we can e-mail them. Send me an email @ [email protected] or call 702-646-3367
