Re: 07.18/19.2010 - Los Angeles, CA @ Nokia

The show WAS incredible- this was my 8th show since 1998 and I have to say... it totally was the best. Had a great time- had GREAT SEATS (oh man) and had just enough mushies to enjoy the music/light show while still saine enough to not bring too much attention to myself. The POT, incredible. Although 3rd Eye was my highlight- the 2nd time I heard it live (first time was in San Jose in '98 and half the amps were blown), and it was killer. Not too many boos for the Opening Band either- infact the least I've ever heard at a Tool Show. Way to go LA- never would of thought it.

On a side note- was Adam's riff for Stinkfist different that normal? Like the first half of the song? Or was I just trippin'?

On another side note- during my first venture to the restroom I remember some dude making a b-line straight to a stall and commenting along the way: "Wow man, I'm REALLY tripping now". Good crowd.

I'd just like to say that I'm still riding high in the sky off these two shows. While Reflection is and always will be my favorite song, these two shows topped the times I saw them on that tour. Yeah they play the radio songs, but they also extend each one to cater to the hardcore fans.
