Available in Galway this morning - in HMV, Red Light Records and (I assume) other stores. I got my copy...

For those of you who have it, is the sound quality much better than the leak?

they have a load of them in virgin in cork, displayed right inside the door, bunch of them in the metal section as well. spread the word, it'd be cool to see it reach no.1. but thats not too likely is it...

as far as i hear, it sold out by 12 oclock in hmv in cork.

I was down in Virgin at 4 and there were about 20 left. i can't comment on the sound quality cause i won't be able to listen to it until tonight, and i haven't heard the leak other than vicarious.

I reckon the sound quality will be better in cork than it is in dublin though, the acoustics will benefit from the wholly superior environment

Yeah, they released it a few days early over here because they fell guilty about not including Ireland in the tour.

still...why would they by-pass ireland this time?they played here twice on the last tour.my arse was too poor to get tickets at the time...now most of the gigs are sold out...grr!

ya it sucks they won't play, could be that management don't think its worth their while financially. i'm not sure if the show in the sfx sold out the last time and ozzfest definately didn't sell out. savage gigs though, the sight of all the new nu metallers dumbstruck with awe at ozzfest, serious schooling going on. you're right justlikeme, cork isn't that great, but if we give the impression that it's this hotbed of musical action we might get more bands here. this forum could change things like :-B. I reckon every tool fan in cork knows every other tool fan to see or nod to in the street. i'm off home now to listen to the album. all this was said in an irish accent for any yanks reading.

YAY, a friend bought me a copy, the last 2 in virgin in cork! sorry but cant tell u about the sound quaility as i didnt download it. though i did download vicarious and it does sound the same. AMAZING PACKAGING though!! 2 bi focal lenses on it too look at images like on adams myspace page!

i went into the Sound Cellar on Thursday and they were sold out. so was...EVERYwhere else. so i went back n got it this morning; loving it!

but yeah, Tool have played here twice, hopin n prayin they'll come again. i'm supposed to be seeing them at NovaRock in Austria in June, but i'd love to see them indoors at their own gig.

listened to the album all night, very suprised and delighted with it, 'the pot' really threw me but theres been enought discussions of the songs on this forum already so i won't go on. although i can't believe anyone was dissapointed with it, i reckon downloading it took all the fun out of it for them.i think we won't see them in ireland again, cyprus avenue would be ideal but i doubt they'd sell out, its a fairly big venue. they should be back to europe next summer alright, so you never know.

I booked my ticket to glasgow for the 11th june gig about a month ago, and boy am i glad i did.

2000 seater venue, balcony seats, no "smoking" ;) ban.
