i envy all you guys going to see them for the first time, its religious, they are everything you expect and more, i caught both of the last gigs, they usurped a non-showing ozzy at ozzfest and the drummer from system of a down joined them for 'triad', would have tried to get tickets but i'm pissing off to thailand for the summer and have my flights booked with ages, otherwise i would have held off til after the gigs.

don't mind fibbers in dublin, they'd need at least lillies bordello. i can see it now, gavin lang-murphy tearing up the pit, security helpless to stop him, and mondo from fair city joining maynard on stage for a rendition of nicklebacks 'how you remind me'. colin farrell and eddie irvine singing along from the balcony.

hey teleincision, do you follow ufc? diego sanchez is from Albuquerque as well, don't know if he's famous around there, how do you figure he'll do next month?

To the dude wondering about sound quality - I didn't notice much difference between the leak my housemate had downloaded and my album.

i have a friend who works in the academy in glasgow, and when APC played, they enforced their own smoking ban. though i doubt it was very effective.

Yeah this is sweet that we got the album early. Is it just Ireland and the netherlands that got it early?!
Tullamore was almost out of copies on saturday and thats a shithole in the middle of Ireland, so if the albums selling like this all over the country SURELY its worth their while to tour here?!!

PS the artwork is without a doubt the best i've ever seen :) I mean TOOL GOOGLES!!! how cool is that?! Don't use them while operating heavy machinary though!!! lol

ya i had no idea how big they had gotten, i haven't seen a tool tshirt around cork for a while, i thought i was the only one boring people and trying to convert them and listening to the albums every single day. pretty much everyone i know who bought the album said the person behing the counter where it was sold made comments to the effect of 'this is best album ever / this is class/ how come everyone is buying this, is it good?'.

I haven't seen this big a buzz about something in ages. even 'with teeth' was anticipated, but you could pretty much buy a copy whenever you felt like it. no bitching about 'with teeth' folks. also, my exams are fucked because i can't stop listening to this album and collaring random punters and making them listen to jambi and wings pt 2. civilians aren't ready for rosetta stoned yet.

Yeah I'm goin to do my roseta stoned lyrics workout now!! Im goin to sit down with a pen and paper, turn the music up and try to boost the vocals. I'd rather do it like that than go into the thread and read the lyrics someone else wrote out, no one will get them perfect anyway.

How many Irish people is there here? Would it be worthwhile to make a thread showing just Irish people and maybe we could convince someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows the guy in charge of booking dates to book a date in Ireland. I NEED to see tool live.
Tool really are popular in Ireland, I know about 30 people who would go to see them play, and Im a looser!!!!!
....................hmmmm on second thoughts thats proberbly a crappy idea...but maby??!!
