I don't believe it. I'm sure it's something different than "refer save your" and "fatty". Toolarmy also said there was a Vicarious DVD in Japan in September.

I know for a fact he says "You're balls deep in muddy waters" Live at least.. I guess it's just another instance of changing lyrics live. I do not believe anyone here thought "cozened"..

This would go along with my theory that the singer is being a hypocrite too - because he's pointing his finger at the fingerpointer: he's having a grudge against the one who has a grudge. You know what I mean?

I still doubt that these are 100% (not little errors, they are everywhere, but the Rosetta Stoned lyrics are 100% correct), I have my reasons and I wait until this is confirmed until I believe that these are totally true.

No it is NOT confirmed.

They have been posted on Toolarmy by an unnknown source because no one wants to take pictures and Kabir believed it (nothing against Kabir) and posted them on his site. It could've been made by any dipshit of the world, saying it's "official". I want a confirmation from Blair.

^ I agree that it's probably NOT a typo, and that "refer" is normally spoken with the stress on the second syllable, but surely in the song the stress is on the first syllable? It sounds like RE-fer (as in REEFer) rather than the usual re-FER to me.

This is according to the urban dictionary.

Kick me, but "cozened" sounds a lot like the speech of "frozen" to me, allthough it's spoken "cousin".

What I want to say is that I still doubt that those are the official lyrics. But I keep the possibility.

Great, buddy, I did that probably before you did it and with that in mind I posted the post above, now read it again. I'm still thinking that way.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but we have no evidence that these lyrics are really confirmed. Did Blair E-Mail or show Maynard the lyrics? If so, why didn't he write it? Or did he just copy them from Toolarmy because he trusts on this reliable source and there's the *OFFICIAL* everywhere (and the official Pot lyrics are a good thing to put on the Tool website.

Or did Blair himself post them on Toolarmy? I don't know because nobody wants to tell me.

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this since I just joined, but the lyrics I found for 'The Pot' on this website seem to have some mistakes. For instance, I'm pretty sure he's saying King Guru, not Kangaroo; he definitely says shades of CHOSEN indigo, not cozened ( what ever the hell that means) and at the end of the song, I'm pretty sure he says Ganja Police, not Ganja Please. Just thought I'd let people know.

The lyrics posted on this site are "official" lyrics from the official Tool site, and while they may not be 100% accurate when compared to the actual song as it appears on the album, I think it authoritatively establishes that you are wrong about the lyrics you have mentioned.

I couldn't find any of the lyrics for 10,000 days on www.toolband.com so how could these be official? If I missed something, please let me know.

^ The Rosetta Stoned lyrics were released in Toolband's August monthly newsletter in the News section (click on toolband/news/newsletter, and scroll about halfway down the page), and The Pot lyrics were apparently released in the ToolArmy section (to which only members have access & I'm not a member there).

But like it says here on the Toolshed lyrics page:

"Official lyrics for two songs off "10,000 Days" have been released ("Rosetta Stoned" and "The Pot")
Posted lyrics to the new album are unofficial / not yet confirmed (except for songs listed above)."

I still find it odd that the Rosetta Stoned lyrics sound perfectly with with song (who guessed "slow-mo matrix decent from the butt-end of the banana vessel"?) but these lyrics sound off.

The first chosen/cozened I never heard the "ch" sound, but I swear I can clearly hear it the second and third times. Plus it says jury when he clearly says juror in the song. What's up with the "(musta) got lemon juice"
