You guys don't remember Tool Playing the KS Col. back on the Lat tour....
The venue is crap and the sound is horrid. I actually had to talk myself into making the trek to catch this upcoming show. I'm glad I did though. TooL are great no matter where they play.
.... saw them play at the Cotillion on the ÆNIMA tour... what a sureal experience seeing them play at a ballroom/skating rink type venue
hey guys this is kinda off topic but i can't find the thread where i first read about this... in one of the threads i read that APC has never done any TOOL covers but i was on limewire snooping around and there is APC doing eulogy and that is the song that the particular person was talking about... i dont know just seeing if anyone knew if there is any truth to it
Living in wichita i can agree that the Coliseum isn't the greatest venue in the world but if the sound is horrid when they play here on may 11th then we can still see them in okc on may 19th and hopefully that will be sound quality than the KS Coliseum. i would have loved to see them at the cotillion. as far as APC covering Tool, i also thought that the two bands didn't cover each other and that they tried to stay separate from each other so they wouldn't start to sound the same. but if you can find APC playing eulogy then i would download it.

Fuck, I still have not received my tix. I saw an earlier post where someone said they would be mailed Monday so I've been expecting them. Maybe because I'm in Missouri. Oh well, must be patient. Can't believe that noone has mentioned today would have been the original date of the concert but for Danny's injury

that was my post,if you ordered over the weekend they should have been sent monday,you should have them anyday now,yeah i live 2 hours from wichita so mine took like 3 or 4 days in the mail...........forgot today WOULD have been OKC
back in 2002 when they played Wichita, I ordered tickets online as soon as they went on sale. Now as every TooL fan knows, this is a very stressful time trying to even get a chance to get in to select tickets. After a couple attempts I selected my 2 tickets and waited for the confirmation screen, it never came. I kept trying several more times until I finally got a confirmation screen. Checked my email and said two tickets were on the way. Problew was all those other orders went through and they sent me twelve tickets. I ended up calling them and they said since it was a GA show, I could return the extras for a refund. This experience was another reason I wasn't to psyched to catch the Wichita show. I was going to make the trip for the original OKC 29th show, but when it got resceduled I couldn't make it :(
I have an extra Floor ticket to the Wichita show (somebody backed out and I had already bought it) I'm looking to sell it for face value im me if you are interested.
yeah, i got floor tickets to the wichita show and lower level seats of okc so i really want to get up close at the wichita show. so close i can feel maynard's spit. i don't care if that's disgusting. i'm also getting sick of all the pessimists on this thread talking about how bad the venue and the show is going to be in wichita. personally i could give a shit what the venue is like. TOOL puts on a good show where ever they go. can't wait to see them!

It's been my understanding that the original tickets would be honored and we don't have to do anything other than show up. Is this the consensus?

thats what ive heard too,that tix will be honored,i think if it was any different they wouldnt have specified Vegas they would have just said all shows etc................
thats what i thought. i just read something about some Vegas shows having to Confirm by a certain date and date of their tickets, but wasnt sure if it was Ticketmaster or presales.

hey Ross, I do the same thing. I just now completed my Tool collection. I bought Salival off of Amazon in perfect shape for $60. BUT I am not listening to them until maybe the quick hour ride to okc. its good for the soul :)
