I absolutely HATE that punkish over pronouced way of singing, (like at the "overwhelmed as one would be.." part), but on the other hand I absolutely LOVE the other stuff you do with your voice, like that little part after the "shit the bed" part. Good job, really inspiring

Yes, I agree with this.. You started it out nicely, but I felt that the climax was hindered a bit by the style of singing..

The punky thing can easily be fixed if your looking to do so. A lot of time maynard "fades" in on notes, and he doesn't always pronounce them "correctly" or he plays with syllables, ect. That's why it's usually hard to discern what he's saying without multiple listens.

Still sounded good though, get some more stuff up!

Very interesting, especially since "Rosetta Stoned" is probably the least obvious choice for a song to cover by Tool. I recently put up two covers (one by Deftones, the other Radiohead) and I was considering doing "Parabol/Parabola" but like you, I have no drums (well, I'm just assuming you have none and that's why you did this acoustic, sorry if I'm wrong). This makes me realize that I can get by without drums, though, I'll just have to mess around with "Parabola." Thanks for the inspiration...I hope it'll last long enough for me to not just get lazy and neglect doing it.
