Looks like I'm stuck with 2 extra tickets for the Toronto show. The first one is in the middle section (303). The other ticket is fairly crappy, back row of section 301 (far right of stage) so I'd let it go for less than face value. Email [email protected] if interested (or PM).
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Well, with the good reviews from the Columbus show, odds are better that this show will also rock. Mind you, Toronto is their 3rd consecutive night after the 'illness', so I'm not about to count my chickens. Hopefully Maynard doesn't go blowing his throat out in Rock City.
If it can compare to Hamilton in 2002, I'll be impressed. The Hummingbird was good, but Maynard was weak and didn't seem like he was into it. It was the 'warm up' mini-tour, fair enough. Plus, I didn't care much for the stuffy venue with all the stale air, dope/cigarette smoke, and tight quarters to stand and attempt to rock out in - the Amphitheatre should be a much more comfortable show. Anyone know if you're allowed to smoke cigarettes on the lawn?
According to the weather network, it's supposed to rain all morning/afternoon with a 40% chance of rain in the evening (and possible thunderstorms.) In the words of Towelie, "Don't forget to bring a towel!" An umbrella for you (us) lawn folks may be a good idea too.
See ya's there!

Hey people....I have a pair and a single available for TO. Pair is 301 row E and the single is 303 row AA (which is the front row of 303). Face value obviously

A. Totally agree about the gig in Hamilstone, and your impressions from the HBC.
B. LOL @ Towelie. I never, ever, ever forget to bring a towel. I'm gonna be toweling like a motherfucker.
Cheers!
BTW - Last post before the show - have a great time everyone! Be safe and if you see "I'mtheiconoclast" in the house, please beat him in to a coma. Thanks!

Dunno. You might have to check their website. Have fun at the show tonight, and hope the surprise goes off w/o a hitch. Enjoy Toronto Ant...you too Alveolate!
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
For everyone on the lawn, I called the Amphitheatre, you ARE allowed to bring unbrellas. Not that I would bring it onto the lawn, but we're walking to the venue.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Exactly, that's why I said I wouldn't bring an umbrella on the lawn. :)
I was wondering if we could bring them in for personal reasons, because we're walking to the venue and I didn't want to throw it away once I got to the gates.
Eh, whatever. :) I've got 5th row center, so does it really matter!?!
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Id rather the show be postponed then have maynard be sick and not be able to perform well. Honestly there are many shows left in the tour.I personally think they should post pone this week of shows just to let him fully recover
Chance of thundershowers, and a %70 chance of rain.. I'm glad I'm in the pit..
First Maynard gets sick, now it's probably gonna rain and storm and shit...I wouldn't be surprised if they blow all their amps during the first song and we get sent home early.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
fetisha - the change is made
Antcrusher - Nice work (on his site), done by your friend! - And for the dilligent phone work
Alcoholica - Lawn seats will b goin' at a premium 'fer sure
And now, for another Weather report ....
Environment Canada is stating the alledged weather forecast (for Toronto) of:
- Showers beginning overnight Friday
- Showers ending in morning (Sat), cloudy w/ periods of sun (yeah right)
- Showers then beginning again in the evening w/ Risk of Thunderstorm, light westerly winds
For those in the Lawnz: (just imagine .... if u will) If it's raining (probability - good chance) u couldn't (or won't be able to) ask for more of a physically suitable effect to aid a certain new live track that we'll b hearing - should b quite unique
.... and yes, in the seating pic - Justin, Danny & Adam r peering through the mist of tomorrow's rain (almost sounds like a cheesy song title LOL!)

LOL, imagine if the thunder matched the thunder from the song exactly..
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Apparently it's supposed to rain tomorrow - I'm hoping it doesn't, but to look on the bright side, if it does, and they play WFD/10,000 Days, that'd be pretty awesome.

My god.... only hours away...
My virgin Third Eye...
I can't handle the anticipation, the pressure is building at the base of my spine.

Totally stoked. Me and 7 buds are hitting the show tonite. Cpat. Sith Park, care to add me to your chart and post at some point? I may be a little late. But I am in section 202. I went to the hummingbird and you added me there, I print these off and add to my tool memorabelia stuff. Thanks in advance if you can do this.
nice work Capt!
However to be exact, I'm actually in section 201 (not 202), right near where u have Noople seated.
Wow, I'll be leaving for Toronto in a few hours.... read the reviews from Detroit's show last night, I'm pumped! Glad Maynard is feeling better and this show is a go (I hope, have yet to hear anything different) As for the rain, fuck it, just drink more and you wont worry about it....
btw is there any bars or watering holes near the Amp or at the Amp itself to drink before hand? How's the parking there? Can we drink/tailgate outside?
