maynard photo
A few years ago when you went to
www.maynardjameskeenan.com there was just a single photo of him sitting in a park with a "coming soon" message.
So, does anyone out there have that photo? Surely.
Cheers.

Re: maynard photo
You should post this somewhere else where it's more active. I think I know the photo you mean, was it the one where he was crouching with his back against that statue or whatever it was?

wow, ask and you shall receive. cheers.
the reason i made this post is coz at the time (a few years ago) i was in japan in a city called nara which is full of temples and deer and i suddenly remembered about this shot. now that i see it i think i can confirm that it was indeed taken in nara. how about that.

Awww... maybe it's me, that's kind of sad.
One thing though, those type of animals are high-strung by nature... if it isn't tame, there is something to be said for it to be sitting calmly next to James.

It's stuffed, for sure.

I haven't seen the pic, but I know that there is a park in Nara full of tame deer. My brother has pics of himself petting them.

I was in the Nagata prefecture recently, wish I had had the time to visit more of the country and temples...its so amazingly beautiful in some places-then you go to Tokyo, which is such a sharp contrast to the tranquil imagery you find in the "countryside" (not that much left, I'm afraid)

You're probably right. I saw the pic and almost immediately the line about Bambi came to mind. I couldn't resist posting the little joke there.
I was just teasing Torrent-Rain for lacking sense of humor ;)

It's what I'd say too if a bald man just sat next to me while someone took a picture.
