Not psychadelic at all in my opinion..The interests of all the band members lie in everything from ancient numerology,Aleister Crowley, alchemy, wine making.etc,, There is so much going on in Tool with the numbers etc..(10,000 Days.. 46 &2..don't get me started.. Look at Dannys drum set up... Not something a burn out would bother with... this man is a genious.. not to mention Adam( obviously).. I digress or this will end up to be a lecture...... Alex Grey is no way near neo gothic..or Chet Zar..ehhhh maybe a little in Ramiro Rodriguez..but not really! Neo Gothic artist such as Gentile da Fabriano and Luis Borrassa are some of the most brilliant artists to lay paint to canvas or panel, with the most breathtaking unforgettable pieces in history.. I can see how the painting of the woman with the arms would lead you to label it neo-gothic(elongated arms softness of the woman).. A better picture of that would reveal an eye..in the ground(?) up for interpretation there) and she is 'digging'... a child to the right, a man to the left.. There is a message... remember to write it down....
