Re: Photo of the Day
In looking back through this page of the thread, a few stick out
coldlogic's graffiti is very interesting....you should print & frame as art
sadsummersea's statue looks like something out of a horror flick...very cool
and one_reflection's wispy clouds.....beautiful...perfect timing
Here is an old shot from April of last year before the D-SLR upgrade (hence the extra noise).
Vermont sunset (taken from moving car)

sadsummersea has the best advice. just find something that looks interesting and try to find an angle or perspective with your camera that makes it even more interesting.

Good job lotus. I love that cracked texture on the tile (?) in the bottom left. The orange and white track pattern is a little distracting, though.

Thanks ColdLogic. That is tile that you see, the image is the sun shining through the front door. The orange and white pattern you see is colored glass, I didn't alter the image too much just darkened it up a bit and bumped up the saturation.
Cool tree, I really like the photo ColdLogic.

Awesome waterfall photo Elgyn, very nice shot. I also like a lot of the pics in your photo album especially Little Waterloo Bay.

Great photo, as always :) Have you been out along the Waterfall Way in NSW?
This is Ebor Falls out that way. Pick the face..
Also, some panoramas:
Sydney
One of what i posted earlier (the colour is a bit dodgy here) - with the "whatever that is in the bottom left hand corner" cropped out :p

Awesome lightening, made more so by the tracks leading to it! I also like the bowl-shape of the clouds in the bottom two.

Those falls look awesome, I've never been there. Love the second panorama too :).
That lightning shot is great Liam, and totally agreed about the tracks leading to it. Makes for a very complete shot.

thanks for the feedback, all. TBH, I took the photo in color and then made it B/W in PP. Then adjusted highlights, contrast and exposure. Too much noise in the middle though
