i just started seeing tool on this tour cause i couldnt make it t o any of the 01-02 shows. this is the 6th time ive seen them on the 10,000 days tour and each show has been awesome in its own way. i dont care if ive seen pretty much the same set (a few diff songs here and there of course... was lucky enough to see sober, opiate, the patient, and right in two)... but whatever. same setlist.. im happy enough to see tool cause they ARE my fave band. now stop bitching guys

Is the tsongas video available somewhere? I've actually never heard of it. The only 'video' i've seen is the band in like 1992 playing in a tiny bar for a small crowd of people. It's sick...

haha you got it.

i actually met a guy through someone on this board who happens to be working in my town for the summer, and he needed a ride up for the show tonight, so i offered. its pretty cool how common love for a great band can bring together total strangers. can't wait, tonight's gonna be fun as hell. hope everyone who hasn't left yet has a safe ride.

I am now officially depressed. I went to three shows in the Midwest. Chicago, Peoria, and Milwaukee. I've been to 10 shows in my history of Tool. I was dieing to hear Pushit. I got Flood which is also one of my favorite songs, but was dieing to hear Pushit. On the 4th of July, Tool did nothing special. But Mansfield got Pushit and Flood. You guys are soo lucky. lol

I agree 100%. Luckily I've had the chance to hear Pushit back in '98, but still, they didn't do anything special for the 4th of July, yet Mansfield hits the jackpot.

Anyone remember the set list for the Mansfield, MA (Tweeter Ctr) show? Though any playlist for this 2nd leg of the extended 10k Days Tour will suffice since, as we know, Maynard doesn't deviate

Does anyone know if there were any tapers at this show? I went last time they were in town and got my hands on a recording of the show, and I was hoping to do so again, especially since this show was significantly better.

Can't wait for them to be back in the Boston [or Hartford] area!

I found a copy here. It is only in mp3 format though.I will still look for a non lossless format like flac etc. Hope this will do for now.

Re: 2007/07/12 - Mansfield, MA - Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts

Thank you _SO_ much! I can't wait to get home so I can start the torrent! As you said, FLAC [or some other lossless] would be ideal, but a copy at all isn't a bad start! Thanks again, great detective work!

How'd you stumble upon that, anyways?

EDIT: It's a Demonoid torrent [not terribly surprising, I <3 Demonoid], I guess it just took the taper a few days to up it [I checked there the first couple days after the show].

Its actually kinda funny cause this starts at right about the same time I actually got in. The traffic on 495 was hell, not to mention the line into the show, lets not even bring up the wait after....Great show though.

Yeah I was so psyched to find this! I was checking dime a dozen and TDN every few hours etc... stumbled on to this through bitjunkie since they tend to list so many torrents from everywhere, was quite suprised when I found this there. The same person posted the next show a day later.I tried to find the taper so i could get a better copy, but i just ended up on some site with ! torrent and a bunch of dead ends. This is actually pretty decent quality for mp3,at least on my ipod with good headphones!! Also,Thank you so much to who ever taped this!Great job!!

Now I'm actually a teeny bit sad I didn't go to the show. Pushit live would've been nice. The last time I saw them was in 2002 in Lowell, and they played 3rd Eye (one of the "we're only going to play it a couple times" songs for that tour). It was pretty satisfying knowing you got to see one of the "good" shows.

Re: 2007/07/12 - Mansfield, MA - Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts

This was my 1st time seeing Tool since the - late 90's. I liked Tool then, but now I am much more of a fan.I had seen them a handful of times in the Boston/providence area since I used to live between(back and forth) Cambridge and Providence. I am kicking myself in the ass today,10 years after the fact because I just realized Tool played in Fitchburg in 97 which is where I have been living since the past 12+ yearsand was born. This is such a nowhere place! How did I miss Tool?! How did I miss Tool w the Melvins?! Was I on another planet that month? Sure, there have been other shows since that i didnt go to for many reasons, but I wouldnt have missed them in my no where ,small home town.
This is weird.

Yes, there were a few tapers (and filmers).

There is another source for this show avalible on Dimeadozen torrents (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=155176). The sound quality on that one is amazing.

Also (in terms of video), two people filmed it and they are thinking of doing a 2-camera mix DVD. One of the people who filmed was actaully right up front (16 rows back) Here is a youtube clip from that filmers tape: http://youtube.com/watch?v=1WYMnnh-DAA

The other person who filmed was supposably in section 3.

If you are talking about the Lowell 2002 DVD, I have it and I must say it is the best quality bootleg I've ever seen. There is a torrent of it up, but only has 2 seeders as of now.

Damn guys. You are so fuckin lucky. I can't believe you got Pushit and Flood back to back. I would have shit my pants, literally. I got to hear Flood at all 3 shows I saw this tour, but never got Pushit. That's definitely a show to remember.

This show is avalible on several torrent sites, but if you want to download the full concert without a torrent, here is a link: http://electricmatrix.jconserv.net/viewtopic.php?t=3878

That is the full version with better sound than the version put on demonoid.

All you have to do is register for a free account on The Bootleg Matrix, follow the link I gave, and download all 8 parts of the show. You will also need WinRaR or a similar program to extract the files. And be aware that there are two versions of this show on The Bootleg Martix. If you want better sound quality and the full show without missing songs, get the one labled as "2007 July 12th - Mansfield, MA(Source 1)" from the link I gave.

Re: 2007/07/12 - Mansfield, MA - Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts

Question about winrar:

i download the 8 .rar files. But it seems that unzipping one of them, once they have been downloaded, gives me everything I need (when I try to unzip the rest of them, just try to overwrite what I've already unzipped).

What is up with this? What are the other 7 files doing that I could just do with the 1st .rar file?

Thanks, from the technically somewhat incompetent.

What is up with this? What are the other 7 files doing that I could just do with the 1st .rar file?

Thanks, from the technically somewhat incompetent.

It's hard to explain, but if you only download one file and then try to extract the files, it'll say something like "The following volume is needed to continue with extraction" and then after that it'll say the name of whatever part/volume you need or haven't downloaded, such as "Tool-Live in Mansfield (Part 2).rar"

WinRAR automatically detects all of the other .rar files on your computer and extracts everything into one folder, so it makes it seem like you only need one .rar file, but if you only had the first part, for example, the extraction would fail.

Basically, each WinRAR archive contains like about 2 or 3 songs and all 8 of them are equivelent to the full show.

Can someone help me out with getting the Lowell, MA show from 2002. There's not enough seeders and it'll take forever.
