Links to your own bands or bands you know and like

Music is a form of art, so I thought we would get a little "my own band" or "cool band I know" thing going in here. I think it would be silly to post websites to bands like Dream Theatre or Tori Amos or something that people already know about. I'm talking local bands and all that. You get the drift. I will begin by posting my friends' band, PiSees (not the zodiac sign, but like 3.14 pi). It's progressive rock to say the least, inspired by TooL. Go to the page, click on music at the bottom, and you can listen to clips of the songs. The website is excrutiatingly lame, but oh well.

Reply with your opinions of what you hear with this band, and with your own bands would be cool!

A great idea...

For all you Australians here that have not yet heard Cog on JJJ or live you should head over there now and check them out... quite a refreshing band in the stagnant Sydney scene:

www.cog.com.au

They're playing at the Big Day Out so you might want to check them out there.

I'd post a link to my band but im currently redoing the website and im very lazy so yeah... perhaps another time.

Spiral out, keep going.

Hehe... I don't know if I put this in my origional post, I hope I did, but that's not my band. I'm not in it (I wish). They are just my best friends in the world. And I have no idea how they got the MP3's on the website... but the guy that made it is a friend of mine, his email is [email protected] (The first 0 is a zero), he's a computer science major, you can email him and tell him you talked to Lindsay on this thing and he can help you out. Also, if you like the band... they have their first ever EP coming out soon... you might talk to him about getting ahold of one of those... just if you're interested

Buy their new album, "El Cielo." Perfect juxtaposition to Tool, and amazing live. I would describe them as a cross between Radiohead, Tool, and orchestras.

Yes, orchestras.

Check 'em out. Worst case scenario, download "Same Ol' Road" off of Kazaa or whatever.

I promise you'll be more enlightened after experiencing them.
