Overall I couldn't have asked for anything more (except maybe Right In Two?). First time hearing Flood live, was completely blown away by the energy that song possesses. The extended version of Lateralus alone is worth the price of the concert ticket.

Maynard seemed exceptionally playful with the crowd tonight, always a plus. A Maynardism used as farewell just before Vicarious..."I know some of you in the crowd might be drunk. However, resist the urge to have sex with a policeman at all cost..... It will only end badly in many ways." Or something like that.

Time to go rest my chest and ears after that wonderfully welcome onslaught of timeless rock masterpieces. Tool shows are something we all should really embrace while these four exceptional individuals have the ability to perform at such a high level. Good night, hopefully I don't shit the bed.

Just got back from the show. This was the 3rd show I've seen on this tour. It did not dissapoint. From seeing the two shows earlier i was surprised how energetic this show was. The drum along with the Big Business drummer was the best part. But theyre drum set wasn't too loud. Big Business was good but I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I saw they shortened the set list, leaving out The Pot and Aenima. Hopefully they come back (sooner than 10 years.) I also saw that in some parts Adam was humping his guitar watching Justin. And it was hilarious seeing Justin chug 6 beers during Lateralus. Everything seemed to be spot on, which was great. I think this is the best TOOL show I've been to yet.

great show (my 15th I believe).. probably in the bottom of my top 10 but still good either way. Very similar to the Camden, NJ show from earlier in the tour except they played flood which was without a doubt the highlight of the night. Actually felt like after flood the show really came to grind. I think the band was feeling a little more energetic tonight since its the next to last show on the US tour and they get a few weeks off after tomorrow. Maynard brought out a fan and blew toilet paper all over the drummer from Big Business. He was a little chatty Kathy tonight cracking jokes and stuff. More animated than Ive seen lately

Any time you can see a tool show its going to be good so overall I give it a 7. Just wish maybe Third eye and some others were played in place of wings pt 1 and 2, rosetta stoned and the drum solo. Those songs lose all their feeling live for me. Much better on record. oh well. thanks tool for coming back to PA

awesome fucking show. posted in the wrong place before but yeah it was great. it was my 3rd time (other times were at Tweeter last year, and at the boardwalk in AC last month). Devin sold me the 119 section tickets, Adam's side of the stage, never saw Tool that close before! (also the first time i wasn't stoned, last time we all smoked up during the Pot and it was great). Was at the front of the lawn in Camden, and all the way in the very fucking back for the AC show which i missed the first songs to. I figured correctly that Flood replaced AEnema or Right in Two, setlist was very similar to the other times other than that. Man, I was so excited when they played Flood, i noticed they only play it like half the time if that. Didn't play the Pot tonight but I suppose it was better than if they had played it and Maynard couldn't sing it and stormed off stage ending the show early or something. anyway, i'm going to bed, I have to work tomorrow.

Badass show, didnt think it was going to be that great. At first i thought my seats totally sucked ass being all the way on the side of the stage 2nd to last row, but wow was I surprised. Sound was great in that little arena, much better than Atlantic City. Hmm lasers way better in AC, but sound quality kicked ass in this little arena..Maynard was a tad low but that was to be expected..In the middle of the show the chic and I decided to hop the little wall behind us and headed up to an empty suite and really got to check out the scene. Next to us we pretty much had a porno with some chic and dude really going at it.. That was funny, but hey to each their own. Great show, see you all in NJ wed.

Wow. What an amazing show. First, I thought Big Business rocked. I love their drummer. I heard some of there songs before so I could follow the songs much better. Great opening act. Now on to Tool...

Setlist:
Jambi
Stinkfist (Ext.)
46 & 2
Schism (Ext.)
Lost Keys
Rosetta Stoned
Flood
Wings for Marie
10,000 Days (Wings Part 2)
Lateralus (Ext. w/ Cody of Big Business)
Vicarious

This was my first Tool show, although i'm going to see them in Holmdel as well. Two buddies and myself sat in section 118, row E, seat 6, which were amazing seats, real close to the stage and Adam Jones. If anyone was around me I was the big guy, short hair, long sleeve white shirt, black polo, and blue jeans. I was smoking and rocking out the whole time.

Jambi - Great song. I thought it was a pretty damn good opener. Set the mood for the whole show.

Stinkfist - This really got the crowd going even more. Was spot on and simply amazing. Anytime Tool plays an extended song live it's mind blowing.

46 & 2 - Classic song. Great as well.

Schism - This is the most overplayed Tool song, but it's still great. The extended version was awesome.

Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned - Lost Keys is good, and fits as an opener for Rosetta Stoned. Still...I could do without it. I much rather hear another great song in the place of Lost Keys. Rosetta Stoned was much different then the album version, but it still rocked.

Flood - Damn, i'm real happy they played this. There was a lot of people who didn't seem to know the intro to this song. It might have been the best of the night.

Wings for Marie/10,000 Days - Deep, emotional, there's not words to describe these two songs. They were very moving and performed beautifully. I didn't like how people were yelling and screaming during it, but whatever floats your boat.

Lateralus - It had to be the best song of the night. It was epic to say the least. I wonder how long it played...seemed like 20 minutes. Cody/Danny drumoff was the best.

Vicarious - Great live. It was a very nice closing song.

Best show i've ever seen. I love Tool. Maynard was spot on, although a little low(in the beginning especially) and pretty talkative. Adam seemed spot on and his usual self. Justin absolutely rocked, and chugged like 6 beers during Lateralus. Danny was his usual not-human self.

But, God damn there was a lot of security and cops there. They expected a very rowdy crowd, supposedly.

We just got home to Baltimore from the show. Dead tired since we were there at 3pm today. Got to see and say hi to danny, justin and Adam outside the venue. Adam was walking his dog before the show. Got some pics of adam and then a few of the band onstage with my cell cam. Security seemed very strict on cameras tonight, so i didn't bother.

Same exact setlist as baltimore last month, but definitely worth it! Will post pics later.

Great show! Same setlist as Baltimore last month but still a kickass one. Great sound and great crowd. I was surprised at how small the Sovereign Center was and wondered how the lasers would look in it but everything seemed great. I was in 117 front row and had a great view of everything. The sound was superb also. The band was spot on tonight and it was definitely worth the 2 hour trip north. Thanks

once again they've exceeded my expectations... the visuals tonight were fucking incredible, seriously! and of course the band did not disappoint. it's too bad the mic wasn't a little higher for maynard but at least the acoustics of the place were good..

that extended lateralus jam is insanely ridiculous and awesome to watch..

totally had a blast.... thinking about holmden for sure...

FUCK YEA that shit was awesome tonight, thanks TOOL, very fucking impressive all the way around...

that extended lateralus jam is insanely ridiculous and awesome to watch..

totally had a blast.... thinking about holmden for sure...

FUCK YEA that shit was awesome tonight, thanks TOOL, very fucking impressive all the way around...

Absolutely insane.....Just a sick show.
I think they compensated for less lasers by jamming out of their minds. They absolutely played with more energy then I had ever seen them give before.
On point, amazing energy, best show I've ever seen.

For the record.
Section 106, Row F, Seats 2&3...
You are the problem with people at any concert.
If I feel the need to express myself by dancing at a concert, so be it.
If you feel the need to just be a drunken fucking moron, you, are a loser.
Thanks for putting a damper on my night.

Anyway..

Ill go out on a limb here and say Reading was better than Atlantic City.. The only thing AC had over Reading was the crowd. Everyone was fucking drunk. The parking lot was full of morons too.

Highlights:
FLOOD. I finally got to see my favorite song performed live. Amazing.
Lateralus. Cody of Big Business is disgusting. Much better than Melt-Banana's rendition.

Overall, awesome show.

Great to see Flood finally. To echo the earlier sentiments, the Lateralus solo w/Coady Willis came across way better than earlier on the tour when played with Melt Banana's drummer. Standard setlist besides that. Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. Good show.

Wanted to wait for this show to sink in b4 I posted....WOW....these dudes have it down at this point...Last night was the 7th time I've seen these guys in the last year or so, and let me tell ya, they're pretty frickin tight right now.....

This was the most animated the reverand has been....god damn, my ears are still ringing...sat about 8 rows from the stage in front of justin---he's an animal---you can tell from just watching him and danny have fun playing with eachother....danny was a beast tonite, as usual, and adam was grooving lovely the whole time....really really really good stuff tonight.....

Highlights of the show, in my opinion, were jambi 46 & 2, rosetta stoned, flood, and once the lasers go on after the break the whole place wanted to explode....lateralus is INSANE live.....the 2nd drummer is pretty darn good.....46 &2 was absolutely dead on.....possibly the best I've ever heard it sound live....maynard really had fun during rosetta stoned....he was clapping with the crowd, and the whole floor was just bobbing up and down whilst justin danny and adam ripped out a stellar jam session....everyone was on their 'A' game tonite....

this was as good as a show as I've seen.....would've loved to hear Right in
Two, but flood suficed...schism should be dropped from the set list....in leiu of eulogy or something.....just my opinion.....

by the way, FL 1 row GG, the four frat-boy douschebags who kept standing on the seats---STOP GOING TO CONCERTS----in fact, stop going out in public, entirely. You are exactly the type of people tool does not enjoy catering to....assholes....

Agreed . The sound was off the hook @ 104 The bass just fucking rattled me and my girl, That with the 3 pot brownies we ate each. It can be summed up by the Best quote from my girl last night right after jambi - "I think I just came".

Plus the whole playing of 666 by maiden prior them to coming out made a lot of people smile

Now that I'm awake, I still can't hear anything but ringing! I've seen them 3 times on the 10k days tour and I would say this was the best of the 3. We were on the side of the stage about 20ft from Adam. Considering he has been my biggest inspiration guitar wise for the last 10 years, it was great to be close enough to watch his playing. It also didn't hurt that we got to see him before the show and say Hi.

Out of the 3 opening acts I've seen on this tour Big Business was the best. Their drummer was GREAT and his part during Lateralus was a perfect fit and really added to the experience. I also don't know what was more funny... Maynard's humor or the people who had a blank look on their face to Maynard's humor.

I would say the highlights for me were Stinkfist and Lateralus. Those two songs are so powerful live with the entire crowd singing along.

Danny was a machine as usual pounding away. Maynard was a bit more animated tonight. Justin always seems to find the groove and it was hilarious to see him down the beers during Lateralus. Adam seemed a bit more into it tonight and at the end of the show was looking for crowd reaction and responded to it as well, which I hadn't seen before.

Did anyone else notice during Lost keys when Justin was dancing around trying to keep the feedback going? It sounded and looked like he lost it right before the end of lost keys, but between him and Adam they have mastered the art of controlling and creating feedback.

Here are some of the pics. No pics during show and only cell phone pics at the end. But good pics before the show. And to the guy that gave Adam the glass sculpture while he was walking his dog, we got your picture with Adam!

Lateralus drum session was quite possibly the second coolest thing I have ever experienced. First is vagina and nothing will top that. Great show, a little short IMO, but I could not believe how dead on they were. I still can't hear and my feet feel like they are vibrating still. Good times. Also, I loved how they ended every song. 46 & 2 ending was the best.

I enjoyed the show but I wasn't as blown away as during the Lateralus tours. Part of my disappointment, if you can even call it that, was seeing Rosetta Stoned. Maybe it was our seat (stage left so we had Justin's stack facing us) but when Maynard used the alternate mic, we couldn't hear him at all. I'm also not a huge fan of Flood but it was nice to hear something different.

The drum session was outstanding. The Big Business drummer sure looks young... if he's that good at a young age, imagine how good he'll be in 5+ years.

I'm hoping they pull out all the stops tomorrow night. I got what seems to be the last single seat available rather than being stuck on the lawn. My condolences to all the fans out there if it rains tomorrow night.

Very good show, probably as good as AC. I was in 112 w/ a friend of mine and actually got to sit the entire time. I didn't have to stand on my tippy toes trying to see over the 7ft tall guy in front of me on the floor. Glad to hear Flood live, I think that's a first for me, great classic song. The ext. versions of Stinkfist and Schism were awesome, probably my favorites of the night. I had a hard time hearing but Maynard was saying during his little chats between songs but I caught enough to get what he was trying to say. They didn't disappoint tonight, can't wait to see them again.

I love this band..... 7 shows since May 06...... Tower, Camden, Meadowlands, Baltimore, AC ...... this time in Reading with my 10 year old son ..... It was a surprise for him ....his first concert.....and HE WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!

As we walked out, Tool shirts in hand, he said to me Dad I love you and I'll never forget this. Priceless

I believed I used the band in the way they intended. Thanks guys, I enjoy it all, the show, the songs, the lights, the crowd, the mood, the meek, the monsters and the babes.

the show in and of itself was one of the best performances i believe i have ever seen. it was pleasing to all senses. the crowd was different than what i remember from past tours. at first, it almost seemed that at some point, liking this band became trendy. but i looked past that and remembered the reason i had traveled 5 hours in the first place. the venue was nice, im pretty sure there was about 5000 people attending. the house sound was really good - the vocals were SLIGHTLY low, but every word was audible, with the exception of rosetta stoned.

i thought jambi was a good opener, that first guitar riff was penetrating, and the crowd semed to immediately go into fifth gear. adam really nailed the talk box solo. the abrupt halt at the end of the song gives you the feeling that they have arrived. maynard said something to the effect of "good evening, pennsylvania. hello, how are you, hello, how are you, are you ready to have fun tonight? we have circus clowns and circus freaks and were going to have a good evening."

stinkfist was good to hear, as well as 46 & 2. although i think they are heavily overplayed live, the hit everything on the head. it always makes me laugh when the crowd sings the "ill keep digging" line at the wrong time. sheep.

schism was cool, again i would have rather heard something else here, but i guess thats why i pay and they play. the extenstion on this was flawless and adam and justin sped up the solos and danny followed suit.

lost keys/rosetta stoned. the bass on this was WAY high in the mix. the second mic vocals were pretty much garbled the whole way through the first part of the song.

flood was awesome, the first time i have heard it live. the visuals were perfectly accompanying to the music. alot of people seemed to be unknown to the song.

during the stage break, lighters were in the air and a stagehand sat on maynards riser and held a lighter up as well.

wings/10,000 days was an emotional experience. they played this spot on and the laser and lighting effects were gratifying. this brought a tear to my eye, it was beautiful and i had the feeling that i was supposed to be right there at that point in time. justin sat the entire time this song was played.

lateralus was outstanding, probably the best song of the night. right after the verse "reaching out to emrace the random, reaching out to embrace whatever may come" justin played that open e bass line for about 10 straight minutes and slammed like 6 bottles of beer while the drum off was going on. it was cool to see maynard and adam mess with that kid from big business, but he didnt miss a beat the entire time he was baraded with paper streamers. at one point, adam scooped up as much streamer he could with both arms and just dumped it right on his head and kit. his drums werent well mic'd at all. after the song, maynard said something to the effect of "i know some of you are drunk, but do not try having sex with a policeman, it will not work out for you, not at all. thank you again for joining us on another romp through the forest, we will see you all soon."

vicarious was a good way to close the evening, although i (like many others) would have loved to hear him sing the "vicariously i" verse.

the group hug at the end, and the gratitude shown towards the crowd was really cool to see. i hope there is a fall tour.

wings/10,000 days was an emotional experience. they played this spot on and the laser and lighting effects were gratifying. this brought a tear to my eye, it was beautiful and i had the feeling that i was supposed to be right there at that point in time. justin sat the entire time this song was played.

lateralus was outstanding, probably the best song of the night. right after the verse "reaching out to emrace the random, reaching out to embrace whatever may come" justin played that open e bass line for about 10 straight minutes and slammed like 6 bottles of beer while the drum off was going on. it was cool to see maynard and adam mess with that kid from big business, but he didnt miss a beat the entire time he was baraded with paper streamers. at one point, adam scooped up as much streamer he could with both arms and just dumped it right on his head and kit. his drums werent well mic'd at all. after the song, maynard said something to the effect of "i know some of you are drunk, but do not try having sex with a policeman, it will not work out for you, not at all. thank you again for joining us on another romp through the forest, we will see you all soon."

vicarious was a good way to close the evening, although i (like many others) would have loved to hear him sing the "vicariously i" verse.

the group hug at the end, and the gratitude shown towards the crowd was really cool to see. i hope there is a fall tour.

Great show! The sound was incredible... clean and crisp... best sound experience of all the shows I've seen.

Some of my favorites tunes of the night were Lateralus, Stinkfist, 46 & 2 and Jambi... it was great to see Flood but would have rather they played Pushit... a combo would have been too much to ask for…

I hope the swing by the northeast once more time in the Fall…

This was my first tool concert. Drove from NC to PA to see it. Now I just have to see APC and I can die happy.

The opening band’s drummer was great but that is about it for them.

After hearing Tool live last night, I listened to Lateralus and Anemia with a new found adoration today, they sounded brand new and amazingly much better than on the way TO the concert.

My HIGHLIGHTS are (in no particular order): realizing there is more to Tool than Maynard. I knew the bass was great and I knew the drums were great, but live, they are just SO AMAZING it is unbelievable. The bass pounds your chest and the drums were so on point Maynard is actually the biggest downfall live because his volume is so low by comparison.
Iron Maiden before Tool, Michael Jackson, Thriller after… ok call me crazy but I couldn’t help but do the Thriller dance right after the finale on Vicarious, it was so fitting.
The amount of time taken on Rosetta and Wings was so much they probably could have done all my favorites instead, however I loved them nonetheless. But all things considered, the Anemia songs were the best in show.
They don’t do encores.
I remember listening to Flood on Undertow and thinking “OK, this song is good.” That’s it, nothing more. FLOOD LIVE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST, YOU CAN NOT REPLICATE SOMETHING THAT AMAZING IN A STUDIO! Seriously, when I first realized they were playing Flood and not Jimmy or Pushit I was like “Damn it!!!!!” But I would pay all over again to hear just Flood again that’s how great it was live. I didn’t give that song enough credit.
Free parking that we were SUPPOSED to pay for muhahaha.

Now the “lowlights:”(I hope you all realize that this concert was so great I am really having a hard time coming up with the ba stuff, so I apologize in advance for the following…)
The laser show was OK but they would have been fine without it. The music is more than enough, just play more songs! How about Eulogy for starters (and Jimmy and Pushit as previously mentioned, but there are many more of course)
They take a seated break in the middle and we all just stand around while a filler song is being played.
Maynard does the same cowboy hat thing for every show... Be original.. Take off your clothes and go streaking (I’m a girl so I can say that without judgment).
When throwing waters I didn’t get one. I really was thirsty. WTF. Maynard you suck.
Floor seats blow. I am 5’2” ‘nough said.

OK fellow Toolians (if that’s a word). See you next tour but not in PA. Sweet Tool dreams.

Okay so this was my second TOOL show (the first being last month at A.C.) and once again they have pleased me in almost everyway. The stadium although in a sketchy area was like the perfect size for TOOL and they sounded amazing. Although, the first two songs Maynard was a bit hard to hear. I had seats that we considered nosebleeds and they were REAL good, except for the dopes in front of us that were trippin face but anyways...I liked the set list especially with the addition of Flood which I kinda didnt expect, though I washoping to her Aenima. But Lateralus more than made up for it. WOW.

Now I wish I had Holmdel Tix.

The show was awesome...just as good as the AC show last month. Even the light show seemed to be more intense. I loved the addition of flood to the setlist even though i was secretly hoping for pushit. Sound quality from my seats were superb. Danny is fucking sick....he was almost inhuman. The bass so incredible that my seat was vibrating.

On the flipside, the event staff were complete assholes. We were sitting in 113 waiting for Tool to take the stage and the staff were running up and screaming at people to stop smoking pot or they were getting kicked out...no one was even smoking pot yet! Then this one usher in our section got up in a girls face and accused her of smoking pot and she had nothing on her. They were a total dick to her. About every 10 minutes after the show started the assholes were shining their spotlight-like flashlights into our section and the one next to us checking for smokers. That definitely took away from the show.

All in all the show was great minus the staff....but I would definitely go see another show there. The acoustics there were incredible!

Yea, The event staff were going nuts with the flashlights. The girl next to me was screwing with her cell phone the whole show and they kept shinning it in my eyes and the people next to us.

Our section didn't get harassed at all but we could see the flashlights all around the arena. I hope the crew in Holmdel isn't quite so aggressive.

The sound was much better than I expected from Sovereign...
Schism is not neccesarily one of my favorites, but they really tore that one up.
The sound waves just cut right through me...

TOOL had fun at this show. Probably even more fun than the audience! They didnt take themselves as seriously.

Danny wore a L.A. CLIPPERS Jersey instead of a L.A. Lakers one (like a "doppleganger" version of Danny.) I mean that tells you right there that they were just out to have fun with the 2nd to last show on this leg of the U.S. tour.

At the beginning, Maynard said it was gonna be a circus...complete with clowns and freaks. He was right.

They explored these songs in different ways than they usually do. Typically they are very serious about their artform and strive for perfection, but tonight they took A LOT of chances. Very improvisational.

I heard some screw-ups, but that is what happens when you take CHANCES. Anytime a song would start to de-rail.....Danny would kick back in with 10 times more passion and percision and bring the song to a new level of ass kickery.

I didnt even pay attention to the lasers and screens. Its "neat" and all, but the band was the center of interest because they were changing ALL the songs and really going off the beaten path. I have seen them play the songs really solid before, but tonight there was a certain element of "slop" or looseness to these renditions.

This show was different for a lot of reasons. First of all you have the small venue and the "middle of nowhere" location of Reading, PA (which is a great place with a lot of personality). When TOOL came out, Maynard said "HELLO......*looked down like he was reading off a piece of paper on the ground, then he popped back up*.......READING!" That place was so small, there couldnt have been a bad seat in the house. My GF and I sat in Sec. 103 which was right above the front right corner of the stage with a perfect view of all the musicians (except for Danny, who's head was blocked by cymbals).

Big Business = Badass.

I have their album, and it was great to hear them play those songs live. Cody has great style on the drums and is just mean as hell. I love the bassist as well, he covers a lot of sonic territory with his "big bass balls of fuzz" and lemmy from motorhead-type vocals. I just dont see how people could complain (especially compared to melt bananna and isis.....Big Business was def. better than those other openers). Just need to catch them with Buzzo and the Melvins now. Oh yea....at the end of their set...they requested that the audience "BOOOOOOOO" Them off the stage....that was fucking funny!

I could go on and on, but I'm just going to state some facts:

This was a "cheesy inside-out" show.

Danny wore a CLIPPERS jersey.

Adam was sporting the pigtail braids.

Justin Chugged 5 fucking beers while kneeling during the Lateralus drum explosion. (I was wondering if he was going to be able to stand up after that!)

Maynard said a lot of weird shit, but you couldnt hear it....his mic(s) were too low in the mix.

During Rosetta Stoned......in the begining "rant"......Maynard didnt even sing the words....it didnt matter cause he filled it in with lyrics from another song......It was really fucking funny though....The song sounded familiar....I think it was some "pop R & B" song lyrics.

They TWEASED everybody's brain with the keyboards and sequencers for about 5 minutes. They were flipping the sound inside out and it was really messing with me!

Maynard Toilet papered Cody from big business during the drum section of lateralus.....which was HILARIOUS! Then he started bringing plants on stage and doing some feng shui with TP and potted plants. Adam came over and covered the drumkit with TP that fell off and Cody was shredding through it like a motherfucker....

THEY FUCKING JAMMED OUT ALL THE SONGS IN A NEW WAY.

It was so laid back, and such a small venue, it felt like we were all just sitting on a couch chilling with the band. A great experience compared to the larger shows I'm sure! (Like Festeroo)

Ummm, not sure what show most saw in Reading, but I thought it was boring as hell.

I was in the 5th row center.

I call this a donut show, great on the ends, but a BIG HOLE in the middle.

Gee TOOL, thanks for playing all of your freaking droning 12 minute epics- instead of FLOOD how about 4 degrees, or anything off of OPIATE!?

Thanks TOOL, for standing by to watch the roadies set up the opening band's drum kit, you could've played DISPOSITION while they set up, no?

The young drummer is going to be great, but he wasn't in time playing with TOOL, i think they lowered the mics on his kit.

Maynard is always cool on stage, but the Sovereign Center was lacking a center speaker for the vocals, so Maynard was washed out.

Great band. Less than average show.

This was my 3rd time seeing TOOL in about a 9 month period. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA, which is where I saw my first TOOL show. It was all over for me after seeing them live in Pittsburgh. They are the most amazing fucking live band ever. The energy they put out is incredible. We saw them a few weeks back in Youngstown, Ohio. I was blitzed out of my fucking mind both in Pgh and in Youngstown but still was able to remember the insanity that I witnessed. This time, I saw it sober, which was a bit odd, lol. But they were great. They played pretty much the same set as they did in Ohio but left out "The Pot". Why?? Why would they do that?? LOL.

Jambi is a great opener. It's devastating. It sets the mood for the rest of the show.

Stinkfist is always a sledgehammer live. (They opened with this in Pittsburgh. It took my virginity). Kicks ass in every way possible.

46 & 2. Another staple. Always fucking great.

Schism. Sucks being a chick b/c I had to piss during this song. I love schism.

Lost Keys and Rosetta Stoned. Don't get me wrong, I love these two but I was really really holding out for "Pushit" or "Aenema" which I heard they'd been throwing in here and there recently. I would have shit myself if I had heard the beginning of Pushit. I'm not even kidding.

FLOOD was unfuckingbelievable live. I was too drunk at the Ohio show to really remember that insane display of musicianship. My god, and the water display in the back that played during FLOOD was sick. That song pounds the fuck out of you.

Wings/ 10,000 Days is always great. The last two times I was kinda bored but this time I truely think 10,000 Days is fucking genious. I guess cause it's just so long and so slow but then when it finally gets pumping at the end and he screams "Give me my WINGS!!!!!" Oh. My. God.

Lateralus. Hands fucking down, my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE LIVE TOOL SONG EVER. This song never loses its ability to give me chills and make me almost piss myself, lol. The drum jam with Danny and Cody I had already seen in Ohio but it was fucking hilarious this time. Not only did it kick major ass but Maynard had so much fucn with it. Toilet papering poor Cody's drum set and setting up those trees ,lmao. That was classic fucking Maynard. And Cody jammed the fuck out anyway, toilet paper and all. Lol. The end of Lateralus and you know what part I'm talking about "With my feet upon the ground..." Oh. My. God. Sickest shit I've EVER seen and heard in my life, EVER. My jaw is still on the floor back in Reading.

Vicarious. I like this song, it's a good ending and it rocks live. I was really really holding out for Aenema. Thats what they closed the Pittsburgh show with and it was just sick.

Overall- We were in section 117 row k. We could see everything/ everyone perfectly. The sound was amazing, the lasers were amazing. TOOL kicked ass, simple as that. It's a shame that we won't get to see them again in the US for a long time. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky...

Re: 2007/07/16 - Reading, PA - Sovereign Center
