Tickets ($66.66) go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22 and may be purchased at the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy and at all Ticketmaster locations, including Marshall Field's. if you are only trying to get 1 or 2 tickets, yeah the limit will help, but i have a group of 8, so now instead of 2 people scoring tix, 4 people will need to now
So I just called The Fox and asked to speak to management.
I enquried about the 6 broker tickets on sale in row f5 for $185 bucks a peice.
Here is what I was told. The Fox Box office and employees have no way to access and/or hold tickets.
That being said, the only tickets that can be held are from the record label can pput holds.
in which she said, there are alot of holds on that show.
Im going to keep digging on this.
i'm not going to worry about it. i have been to paranoid about getting two tickets. i'll get up and be on the site at about 9:50 and right at 10:00 i'll click 2 tickets and hopefully i get something. If not i'll just buy from a broker.
I don't have the money for a broker so I really need to get the tickets Saturday, those comments by the Fox Box office are not good at all I think I may call them too.
If Toronto is any sign of things to come, these tickets will go in seconds. It just frustrates me that my chance of seeing Tool in an intimate (relative to arena tours) venue rides on the pure fluke of my signal reaching ticketmaster before many other hopefuls.

How far is your drive to detroit? Are you closer to windsor then Toronto? Because Windsors only like 2 hours from where im at. Detroits about 90 Minutes.

I'm much closer to Toronto, but my Dad will drive... plus he's got a lot of job sites that his business is working on in Detroit so he's gonna check them out... but if my friend's not allowed to go my dad wants to come watch. Detroit drive will only be 3 hours.
i just saw dredg at st. andrew's last wed. that was a sweet ass show. dredg live is kick ass. i saw tool at the state when they came for the prelim's for lateralus. im kinda pissed at the 2 ticket limit, considering it's assigned seating. kind of clashes with the intent, i think. but being that my credit card's expiration date is 11/07, i think i got u all beat. plus god loves me.
i love downtown D, man, u can do whatever the fuck u want down there. it's almost like a ghost town, except for the spots.

I wish they had done the tickets through Star Tickets Plus instead of Ticketmaster because thats where I work and I could have gotten tickets easily...
