it was cool. i was waiting there and it said, 'none available' or whatever it is. so i was talking to my buddy online, he said it was the same for him. then my phone rings and he's like, 'got tickets... we're sitting 9-10, blah blah blah'... by then i was too excited to care where i was sitting... just as long as i was sitting at all.
honestly, any seat in the place is pretty good. i saw NIN there last year and i was the first row in the balcony...some of the best seats i've had for any show. so it doesnt really matter where you're sitting.
it may have been my falt though. i had two computers trying to get tickets on the same account because i needed 3 and you can only buy 2 at a time. i guess you cant search on both computers for tickets. fuck. if thats the case i know i would have gotten at least 2 tickets casue i was seriously searching for tickets teh second it became available. im gonna go cry now

Same here, I was excepting the worse but still got em. Ticketmaster has screwed me so much in the past...I still can't believe I got em.
yea i got screwed by TM for Pearl Jam in Hartford a couple weeks ago. pulled up 5th row center, was told they couldnt process my order (only had one window open with TM.com in it). then i pulled up section 600 row KK which isnt too bad, so i ordered it. i check my status and i had section 800 Row FFF. all the way on the right side. i called and made them cancel my order. i hate TM.com with a passion.
oh and it looks like the reason the tickets went up in price is because i think they included some service fees in the price now. i only got charged an extra $6 over face for the ticket.
i was the next person in line at ticketmaster when they sold out. some asshole in front of me meant to buy bon jovi tickets and bought tool tickets and he didnt even know who tool was. when i asked if i could buy them off him he wanted $425 so he could pay for his bon fucking jovi tickets too.

if for some strange reason i cant go to this show (who knows what the future holds) i'll sell my ticket on here....for face value. no one should be paying more than face value for a concert ticket. i'm suprised bands dont do something about this. they sure as hell dont see the extra money.
the bad news is.. i'm seriously sick to my stomach about the amount me and my boyfriend just paid on ebay. we only did it quickly because i realized the website/phone for the NY tickets was fucked.

i thought the show in Boston, at the Orpheum Theatre, was general seating.
i'll have to eventualy purchase two tickets on here, most likely seperately, and i'm not sure how that will work out when i have to bring a friend with me.. i have no car. we have to drive up from mid-connecticut, and like everyone else, TM shitted out on me at 10:oo am this morning.

my tickets are in the left balcony row Q... sounds not so good but i'm guessing no seat is a bad seat in a small place (if it's as small as i'm thinking). no matter how good the seat is, i feel lucky to be going.

I need 1 or 2 tickets I'll take anything at this point. Sold out in 5seconds. My friend was trying to get them I was at work and I call him on break and almost punched a wall. TM didn't crap out on him he was literally constantly refreshing and on one refresh that took 10sec it went from not being on sale to onsale he quickly selects 2 ticekts and go and it comes up sold out. I'm gonna go no matter what (even if by myself) but god damnit $200 is retarded. $750 for front row!? I don't have experience with eBay for concerts...do the prices usually drop come closer to concert time because they realize nobody will pay $750 or will people actually spend that?
Why aren't there better measures in place to stop scalpers. Its rediculous. We have so much shit about downloading music/movies/etc. and 8 year olds getting charged w/ downloading disney volume 3 while the real criminals are doing what is explicitly illegal in every fucking state and making a killing off of it. I dunno I guess it makes them available though. If 3800 ppl (or w/e) actually got tickets that actually wanted to go then I guess I'd have 0 chance of going instead of a high priced opportunity. Ugh.

I have seen MULTIPLE shows at the Orpheum. What would you like to know about it? It is a very old venue, but most of the seats under the balcony aren't that bad. I had obstructed view last month and it was still pretty good. But for $1K a ticket I better get a Scarface pile and blow job ; )

I got last row of the balcony for $168 on ebay. Going alone cuz none of my friends that would have gone for list price were willing to shell out $200+ for a ticket. First concert alone...normally I'd feel weird BUT ITS FUCKING TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its pretty hard to light up in there. when i saw primus play there a few years ago it was real hard for me to smoke. i had side balcony seats and i had to hit my pipe underneath my sweatshirt, a. because i couldnt get my lighter to work and b. because theres secuirty all over the place.
please god someone tell me they have an extra ticket to this show. i have been trying so effing hard to get one. i am more than willing to negotiate on an EXTREMELY fair price. please get back to me on here or on aim- jam13 mar1Lyn

damn. ive never smoked at a concert before but this would be my first tool concert and...i really feel like i should. im not gonna pay $170 to get thrown out though so fuck. I went to NIN at the fleetcenter and me and my friends had 2 Js in there but we didn't smoke because there was security walking up and down the aisle. I have the left center balcony 5th to last row. I'm hoping there arent security walking tight. fuck.
