Alright, so I'm going to be tirelessly refreshing Ticketmaster.com on Saturday for tickets to this show. I live in Victoria, B.C., and since I work at a hotel here, I can get industry rates on a hotel stay. Should work out awesome. Anyone else here planning to do whatever it fucking takes to see this show?
Perhaps meeting-up could be an option (if we don't already cyber-despise each other).
Hey, how many of you have heard the new cd already? I have, and I'm glad. I am going to buy the album at the show, but I think that since I've heard them already I will be more prepaired to enjoy them to the fullest at the show. Any of you doing this also? Or are you going without any prior knowledge? I suppose I need to let these songs sink in a bit before I am forever attached to them.
well im stoked Tool is coming to Seattle...but i cant believe its 2006...its soo fast..i mean, they play the Paramount Theature on May 2nd..the day the album is being realeased, and tickets go on sale April 22nd..and i was on the Paramount website, and in the May calender..it shows no sign of Tool coming..

TOOL US (and CANADA) TOUR DATES
Here are the dates for some smaller venue shows in the US and Canada before the band leaves for Europe:
SUN-APR-30 INDIO, CA/ COACHELLA FESTIVAL
TUE-MAY-02 SEATTLE/ PARAMOUNT THEATRE ..........
note that it says "before the band leaves for europe"..... this coupled with the radio contests (one of which i came soooo close to winning) that are giving away tickets to all the us/canada venues leaves no doubt in my mind that they are playing.... they must. they will.

I called today as well and if there are enough people, they will definitely hold a lottery for the line so anybody who gets there early might not even get a ticket. But they told me to make sure to be IN LINE by 9:45 because they will start putting people in the "LATE" line. which means you definitely wont get a ticket. I guess I'm shooting for a low-key fred-meyer or gi-joe's. I might call the paramount tomorrow and ask them about the line for tickets at their box office, if there's no lottery, I might just camp out there for a ticket. Either way, I'm waitin in line somewhere, and got numerous people online for me tryin to buy tickets, so I HOPE I GO!

It is sucks for canadians, but it is good for everyone else because without that zip code thing, the scalpers would be getting all of the tickets in the country.

Well I tried but tickets were gone in seconds anyways.
ok, so i got thru to ticket master, and placed my order for the tickets. we went throught the whole purchase and transaction process, I gave my credit card and mailing info and everything, the transaction was done. He was just giving me the confirmation number, when the phone cut out!!!! Now I'm trying to call back and make sure I got my tickets ordered, but the %&*@#@ phone line is too busy!!!! I better have gotten my tickets, I will be soooo pissed if I didn't.

I phoned once about 7 minutes before the sale, and the guy told me to call right back and that the operator who picks up would hold until the sale. So I did, called right back and the girl who picked up had me wait in silence until the moment they went on sale.

I got tickets at tower records in seattle. I was 3rd in line at 6:30 this morning.
9:00 comes around and guy comes out says theres a lottery. We drew numbers at 9:30 and our fate was yet to be determined.
About 9:45 the first lottery number is drawn. I ended up in 2nd position from the lottery. Lottery fucked everyone over in the front except me. I got so lucky. 2 guys that were in front of me got there at 3 am and camped and didn't get tickets.
As ticket sales open, dumb tower employee cant get the first purchased tickets to print. about 30 seconds go by (now about 10:00:30). I knew tickets would go in a matter of seconds. And as I go up to buy the tickets, tower employee tells me (2nd in line for tickets) that there arent any left.
After a few minutes, tickets starting popping up 1 at a time, so I ended up getting 2 but separate seats on section 13 and 11 row c. so I cant complain. Everyone I know that tried to get tickets online and phone ( a lot of people) didnt get tickets. All tickets were held 15 seconds into it. 5-10 min later, a few seats had came by, so only 3 or 4 people in line got any tickets.
does anyone have an extra ticket or two for this show??? i havent ever seen tool and i was really looking forward to this show. please respond asap or email me [email protected] thanks alot.
i F5'ed ticketmaster this morning. after about 10 tries i managed some main floor seats. the 2 tick limit screws some friends of mine. i thought we'd at least be able to get 4 max. oh well, now i can be selective about who goes with.
