i'm going. i'm flying in from nyc on thursday the 27th and camping out at mecca beach. now with this news of the mini-tour... i've totally forgotten that i'm seeing them in cali... haha.
i think i'll still try and score a ticket for one of the east coast shows... i've never seen them in a small venue... only large arena style. omg its all so exciting... i can't even focus at work.

My bus gets in at like 10am, If I cant find somebody that can get me around that time I be fine with splitting cab fare with you. This depends on how far the greyhound station is to the venue, if its like a mile away I'd probably just pay for it myself and go at 10.
What time do you have to be at the bus station to leave indio?
EDIT: actually its only like 5 miles, I'll probably just take a cab by myself. I still need to stash my bag someplace, I dont really want to carry schoolbooks around all day. If anybody is going to have a car there that I can just throw my bag in the back, let me know, I can pay

Massive Attack.........I cant wait, and have my fingers crossed that they go on the main stage before Tool. I've been to every Coachella and it truly is a great time. Normally main stage acts on sundays go on at 8:30/9pm.
I got super close the first year during the RATM/Tool dust up. It was super difficult getting near the stage and the mass of people you have to battle in the dark is quite rough.....thats my only concern at this point. you get to far out from the stage, and youre surrounded by KROQ listeners waiting for the band to "play the single".... not fun at all.

Well, I have a good friend who's seen them... 42 times I believe it is. I think he saw one show back in '94 or '95, and then he made it to 18 shows on the first Aenima tour alone. I'm trying to catch up to him. ;)

The only thing that is going to suck will be the huge crowd and being waay far back from the stage. Fortunatel I can offset that with a small venue shows a mere 8 days later in Dallas.

Anyway Im going, from New York, arriving on Fri midnite flight. Didnt even get a tent yet. Hoping the weather doesnt get much hotter, damn it was 75 F until this week, and now its going up to 90s?
