Vidying. Don't know if that's a word. I got it from A Clockwork Orange. You know...
' Went to the Moloko Bar, we sipped spiked milk and viddied some images, all horrorshow, and then went out to kick the radchucks in the yarbles.'
Then put on some Ludwig Von, and screeched into the day.

Re: Out of place
Today it got 4 degrees warmer, and although the shadows are trailing at different angles an hour ahead of schedule this week, I think I am adjusting.
So, tonight I came home from work and laid totally still for half an hour. Yes. The physical world dissolves away, and I am left with these tiny voices in my head. Slowly, I try to ignore them or turn them down. And in the end, there is one voice like a soft mantra saying, ' Relax.' Over and over again.
Yes. I like doing that. It is like a portal. A gateway between the day and night.
A moment where I just let stuff go.

Yes.
I've heard sleep described as a ' little death.' Before the ' Big Sleep.'
In between, just give into it.

That's so right. When anyone says they want you dead, well, shut er' down, and go have a nap.
There, you can say to them, I'm gone.
Everyday, one little death at a time.

Metaphorically, because when you're "dead to the world" there is really no chance that you'll walk in on them having sex.
Or something like that.

It is a form of bondage. Babies love to be swaddled. So that they sleep tight.

At least you didn't walk in on your parents having sex.

Re: Out of place
Which reminds me of a Scottish proverb:
" Tis' those that 're aroused by the sounds o' bleating should n'ay think a becoming veterinarians."
And yet the Scottish cloned the first ewe. So...
I'm inclined to believe we Scot's lie like fuckin' whores.

Re: Out of place
Sure.
Just the other day I walked to the store for smokes. I put on the IPOD and cranked Rosetta Stoned. Halfway down my street, I stepped in front of a car. Just missed. Crossed the next street, and it happens again. Whoosh. Another car nearly gets me. I'm thinking this is a dangerous place. Yet, I got to the store. On the way home, I'm nearly hit again. And the whole time I'm thinking, these cigarettes are going to be the death of me.
Now, just come at me with that banana.

Re: Out of place
Okay.
Saddest story of the week for me goes out to the woman from Georgia who drove her seven year old son to Nebraska to drop him off and leave him at a hospital for Social Services.
37 children so far have been dropped off. Abandoned. At Nebraskan Hospitals.
I don't what to say?

Some random kid set my favorite cigarette store on fire yesterday afternoon. Maybe they should take him to Nebraska. Strange, ne?
